WOW!! I was very pleasantly surprised with everything about these shoes/ boots. Excellent fit,terrific price, look great too! The wide toe box is wonderful, I have hammer toe and some other issues and these are the only shoe I have tried that hasn't rubbed my toes. I may put some other cushion on the bottom later if needed but for now they are perfect, the way they are made makes me want to walk because it is pain free. Try these you won't regret it.

I really like these boots! I found around on concrete floors all night on second shift and these are every bit as comfortable as an expensive pair of walking sneakers, they're very lightweight despite being waterproof. The big toe box is already nice and wide for your toes to expand while you walk and the boot is wide enough down the sides so your feet don't get sore. They seem like they will be fairly durable in both the life of the boot itself and the soles of the boot, they feel like the have good traction and grip. I'd definitely recommend these boots, they feel just as comfortable as sneakers. Buy them! Your ankles, knees and back will thank you!

Appears to be a good hiking boot. Inexpensive, water-resistant lining has held up through six months of twice-daily pupwalks through the woods, off-road/trail, one to three miles a day. Comfortable for wide feet. Well-cushioned. You will need to treat with a silicone spray or equivalent to approach "waterproof status, and the insoles need replacing if you have high arches. No surprises there, and no matter how much you pay for hiking boots, high arch support requires special insoles and the outside will need waterproofing. At this price point, if they hold up for a year or more, they are a worthwhile purchase.

UPDATE: Just gave these boots a 30 day 60-mile work out in England on various terrains. Waterproofing held up as advertised and sole grip was fantastic with exception to cobblestone roads. Comfort level truly exceeded my expectations. Also kept my feet warm with hiking socks. As advertised! Love the Wide Toe Box. The level of comfort is exceptional for a guy with flat feet and a pronator The lace system performs well and does not loosen or dig into leg arch when walking. Great traction and handles like a Athlectic Trainer. Highly recommend for daily use as well.

My husband has one foot that's slightly bigger and the tie box was roomy enough for his freakish foot. He wore these hiking, and caving. These boots held him up well on mountain side trekking to find our cave. He said the waterproof boot stayed dry, had great grip, and felt comfortable.

Usually I buy Gravity defyer shoes which are 100% comfortable and also expensive. I end up breaking them just a few months after I have started wearing them. I decided to try these boots. I was skeptical and I have been prooved wrong. These boots are as comfortable as gravity defyer shoes and just a fraction of the price. Love them. I wear them almost every day. Great support and so soft!!!! I will buy again.

This shoe is perfect for me with my high arches and narrow feet. As an outdoor photographer, I cover all kinds of terrain and these shoes have performed perfectly with a short breaking-in period. Over the years I’ve learned that my narrow feet don’t need a narrow shoe with a custom orthotic. Instead, I need a wide toe box with a stable platform and padded tongues for my high arches with lacing options to accommodate a variety of sock thicknesses. These shoes meet each and every one of these needs. The materials are good quality and the build is solid. They are appropriately light weight. The shoe strings are ample, and I mention that because I’ve spent lots more money on other brands’ expensive shoes (3 to 4 times the price of these Nortiv 8s) and they arrived with lousy shoe strings and busted ends that won’t lace up. When I inquired about replacement strings, the pricey manufacturers have said, “too bad, you’re on your own.” I like these shoes so much that I’ve added them to my Christmas wish list. I will continue to wear them and if they prove to be lousy I will edit my review. They are warm and I believe that is due to their waterproofing, but that is fine for winter time. I’m going to see if they offer this shoe for summer time wearing without the waterproofing. I’ve spent more to risk finding shoes that work for me and I’m happily surprised that these are such a perfect match for my needs. There’s no question that I’ll buy more of them.
