UPDATE. I ordered a smaller replacement. The fit was fine; however, the shoe began to hurt the top and side of my foot. It's possible that, after wearing for a week or so, the pain would go away as my foot adjusted. But I didn't want to chance that the pain wouldn't go away and I would end up just not being able to wear the shoes. I know everyone's feet are different. Without the pain, I think the shoes would have been good. I really wanted to like them. (I'm tired of paying $150+ for Hokas, so I was hoping the Nortiv 8s would be a good replacement.) This is not a review yet, just a note about sizing. All my shoes are size 9, so I ordered these Nortiv shoes in the same size. However, the Nortiv size 9 runs much bigger (longer) than my other shoes. For comparison, I have a picture of the size 9 Nortiv hiking shoes compared to size 9 Keen's and size 9 Hoka (Bondi). The heel of the shoes are on the same line in the tile. It's easy to see that the Nortive size 9 is much longer than both the Keen and Hoka.

Was looking for a shoe that would not only be comfortable around the house, but also on the farm. This is the shoe for me. So far, they are holding up very well, and the deep tread pattern is very slip resistant. Would highly recommend these for individuals looking for a dual purpose sneaker/shoe.

My shoes just arrived and they feel really tight in the toes. I thought about ordering a wide shoe or even a half sized bigger but looks like my only option is to go another full size bigger? I am updating my comments since the merchant reached out to me and offered to send me any other shoes they make in the right size. The new shoes arrived and they are extremely comfortable. I really appreciate the effort that they put forward to make it right. I would buy again from them just because the customer service was way above anything I expected. Ivy was amazing.

I recently took a 5-mile hike in my new waterproof shoes, and I couldn't be happier with their performance! Right out of the box, I wanted to put them to the test, so I stood in 3 inches of water for a minute. To my delight, my feet stayed completely dry! The shoes are incredibly lightweight and comfortable, making the hike enjoyable even in wet conditions. I was impressed by how well they grip the ground; they didn’t feel slippery at all, which gave me confidence on the trail. Overall, I highly recommend these shoes for anyone looking for a reliable, comfortable, and waterproof option for hiking or outdoor activities. They exceeded my expectations!
