In the past, I have usually purchased boots made in the USA. Specifically Keen boots, which I believe are made in Oregon. But last month I decided to take a chance and buy these boots which are made in China. Since receiving the boots, I have gone hiking on some very rough trails near my home and performed flawlessly. The trail I walk on a desert trail with lots of steep slopes and scree. This boot has a great knobby sole and I feel it is kept me from sliding on the loose rocks . I also like that the boot is high enough that I can lace it up around my ankles. I have twisted my ankles and these boots feel very supportive. Yet they are comfortable. Regarding sizing, I chose a half size larger than my normal. I usually wear a size 10, so I purchased a 10.5. They fit like a glove! Although I like to support American companies like Keen, I live on a fixed budget and $100 is a lot of money for me and I’m glad I saved that money on this spare boots.

I wear it for work everyday. They're lighter than I had expected and they're comfortable. The soles are thick and non-slip. The leather is great. My toes always made a hole in the fabric of the cross trex shoes, so I decided to buy this instead. I would buy again!

I’ve worn them the last 4 days for work. I’m a postal carrier and I walk a lot! The last 4 days I’ve walked 22.1 miles in these boots; including the rain. I got some rubbing on the backs of my heels/ankle. So I added cheap insoles and wear fabric ankle supports to help. So far so good! Love them

Nice boot, but sizes are not correct. Boot feels about half size to big. Already went hiking with them and couldn't return. Amazon getting weird about returns. Update: After posting my review, I was contacted by Topshoes customer service. They work with me to correct the issue I had with their product. Great experience.
