First things first: The fit is true to size, but they can be a little snug at first. If your feet are the slightest bit wide, you may want to upsize. They use thick, stiff, leather that takes a while to relax and form to your feet, but once they soften up they fit like a second skin. I wear a 10.5 which means, depending on the brand or the style, I may wear a 10 in some or an 11 in another. With Nortiv8 I can confidently order a 10.5 and know that it will fit every time. I’ve bought their shoes in 3 different styles, all 10.5, and they all fit just right. I bought these boots for hiking. Please note that these are not described or marketed as hiking boots, so I’m using them off-label if you will. I need the deep knobby tread for the type of mixed-terrain trails near my home. I have confident traction on Ice and snow, mud, gravel, loose leaves, and steep slopes; even when my friends are slipping and sliding. They’re waterproof, and mud and rain are no problem. Even when hiking in snow, and splashing across some icy streams, my feet stayed dry. The high tops give strong lateral support for my ankles without biting into my achilles tendon, even at full extension. There’s good arch support for an average foot; the insole follows the contour of my foot exactly. There isn’t a lot of cushion, though. Enough for me that I don’t have any foot fatigue after long hikes, but if you’re standing in one place a lot, or if you just like a softer footbed, then you may want some padded insoles. The quality and workmanship are both excellent. Materials are attractive and durable; they’ve stood up to some heavy-duty wear and tear, and still clean up nicely. There are no sloppy stitches or glue, and the leather is of uniform appearance and quality all around. The outsoles are thick, but still flexible. While heavy and clunky, they’re on par for a work boot, and light enough for a hiking boot if that’s what you use them for. I’m obviously a fan, and I gladly endorse these boots - and the Nortiv8 brand - whole-heartedly. 10/10

My hubby needed new work boots. These were a good product as well as a good price.

Gone beyond expectations. For an inexpensive boot, I gave it at try after boots costing $150 to $200 died after only a few months. These boots have been worn every day for about 6 months. Concrete shop floor and working outside and have not been babied. The soles are hardly worn and still tight and secure to the uppers. The uppers show scuffs and such from working in a steel shop. About a week ago I waded in several inches of creek water looking at rocks, and my feet remained dry. I would definately buy these again.
