  • Look at me, I'm crop dusting with my lawn tractor ...
Size: 16 Gallon
I'm not typically a review writer, but so pleased with this purchase, I felt I should share ... I've had it with weeds in my grass. Paid for the lawn spray service for several years, unsatisfied, so I attempted my own attack with home store 4 step bagged fertilizer granuals. Couldn't get those granuals to stick to the weeds no matter how wet the grass was. Years of that non-sense and wasted $$$ has brought me to this; Assembly was simple ... once I found all of the parts that I thought were missing INSIDE the tank. Read the big yellow sticker on the tank lid. I'm a dope. Directions say to "strap the sprayer to the cargo rack on the back of your ATV". So, not really designed for a lawn tractor. But I knew that going in. On my lawn tractor, there are two arms that hold the rear bag in place; The Sprayer frame sat perfectly on those two arms. May not be the case with other brands / model tractors. I bent two flat steel brackets at right angles and bolted thru existing holes in the sprayer frame ... and drilled a hole in each bag arm of the lawn tractor to attach the bracket with 1/4" bolts. Not trusting those arms to carry the full weight of the sprayer and 16 gals of fluid, I fashioned a bracket out of some scrap metal that I had laying around, and attached to the farthest point of the sprayer frame, down at an angle to what looked like a tow hitch hole on the tractor. (red diagonal bracket in photo) Seems pretty solid and the entire system can be removed with 4 bolts. So a 5 min job. Also just ordered the mulching kit for the tractor so I won't be using the bag again until the leaves fall. Mixed up 12 gal of herbicide cocktail and the sprayer worked as advertised. I felt like I was a crop duster. Went nice and slow to be sure I got a good coating on all those nasty weeds. With 12 gal in, the steering got a bit light in a couple of hilly spots ... but no wheelies. I may need some ballast on the front if I go the full 16 gal but jury is still out. The wand came in handy too where the wife has flowers and around the deck where I didn't want any over spray. An easy to reach lever on the pump cuts flow to the crop dusting boom when turning around or when I need to use the wand. Overall very pleased with my purchase. Now just need to wait a couple weeks and see how much it helped with the weed situation. ... show more

  • Suitable for light duty only
Size: 26 Gallon
At initial set-up, it required tightening of many fittings to stop leaks, but hasn't leaked since. Rubber feet would be an improvement, as it slides around unless anchored to your vehicle. Disassembly of the lower spray arms for storage is mildly inconvenient. But it works reasonably well, sprays evenly, and is reasonably easy to use and to adjust. We use it with a golf cart to control weeds on a gravel driveway. It is, however, suitable for light duty only. If you plan frequent use, of course spend the money for a higher quality unit. Reliability is likely low; a similar sprayer I bought with the same pump motor was very short-lived. ... show more

  • Great Sprayer
Size: 26 Gallon
I was skeptical on buying a large sprayer, as I was told they don’t work the best. But, I got this in the mail in two days (a day early). Assembly took an hour (easy to do). I did double check all the fittings for tightness. I was able to spray an acre with two fills. It took an hour to spray two tanks. It worked amazing. I highly recommend this product. My only concern is some of the fittings appear cheap and they could break easily. But, with care and general maintenance it should last me years. ... show more

  • Worked Once
Size: 16 Gallon
When it worked the first and only time it was usable. The internal pickup line is hard plastic so it leaves a 1/2 gallon in the bottom of the tank. It doesn't seal properly anywhere so it leaks. Not much, but after two tanks, the bed of my Ranger was wet. When I first assembled it, one of the boom nozzles didn't work, so I had to blow it out with air compresser. Once assembled we put two tanks of weed killer through it with the spot sprayer. The adjustable pressure and spray tip, once dialed in, worked great. When I went to use it the second time, nothing. I checked the inline fuses and the were fine. When I put the volt meter to it, I had power to the motor. I can only deduce the motor went. Save your time and the frustration and look elsewhere for a sprayer. ... show more

  • Be Prepared to be Patient when Assembling
Size: 16 Gallon
Item was shipped without user manual. Had to download a pdf to get it. Instructions vague in a number of areas, including technique to seat water outlet nozzle into pump manifold, proper routing of hoses. Also, had to remove pump housing to secure boom hose and retrieve water filter cap. Boom mounting does not allow leveling left and right. There is a little slop at the points of attachment. All connections had to be tightened to prevent leaks. Once all assembly was completed and tweaked, performance was as stated. Overall, the unit seems to be functioning, but assembly was frustrating. ... show more

  • Package, Weight and no clogging or unfixable leaks.
Size: 26 Gallon
I love the Broadcast spot sprayer, I just had to use some teflon tape around the drain cap connection. However my other issue is with packaging, I wish it could be shipped in a black box. I had a shuffle with a porch thief, whom almost stolen it before my son got off the school bus.

  • Great sprayer
Size: 26 Gallon
Took a little to get all pieces in place, not hard work. Had to tighten a few factory connections to keep it from leaking at the pump and lower valve. 25g is about 210lbs plus tank weight. Boom sprayer works well and can be easily adjusted for ground height. I've used to spray liquid lime slurry, liquid fertilizer and others without issues or clogging the nozzles. ... show more
