From some of the reviews I read, I was worried that the item or the box would be damaged during shipping with pieces missing, but I received it intact, I guess my UPS drivers treated it with care. I also received my sprayer the next day after ordering (several days before estimated), which was also a very pleasant surprise. I needed the sprayer to spray herbicides on a 5 acre plantation of newly planted pine trees, so by using the rate per acre (RPA) application rate listed for this unit (in the instruction book), it dispersed the amount of herbicide needed, but the instruction booklet listed the application rate would require 40psi, but this unit would only produce 20psi (with the broadcast sprayer) but the rate of application was correct at the 20psi (but it had me worried). 95% of the chemicals I applied utilized the broadcast sprayer (which worked great), and the hand sprayer also worked, but the pump seemed to loose pressure if the handheld wand was used too long. Very easy to assemble, I wish they used metal connectors for the sprayer, instead of everything bring plastic. Very happy with the end product. Sprays a wide angel with the back sprayer. The wand works awesome. Great for food plots and around the house or farm

Easy for use. The hand wand is very nice. The last few gallons ate hard to use up. Need to use your imagination to have the last amount of liquid get to the pickup tube.

    • Drain plug leaks
The pressure regulator is useless, will not hold pressure when in use, not enough flow. I had to place pipe tape on the drain plug because of the constant leaking… overall a poor quality product.

    • Arrived damaged.
The 26 gallon sprayer arrived damaged but, Northstar sent out replacement parts quickly. To me, the old version, that I've seen pictures of, had handles molded into the tank. This would seem to be a better design. The indentation for the strap is very shallow so, when you are carrying 200 lbs of water, they are not enough to keep the tank from sliding out from under your straps. I had to stop several times to re-secure the tank. Next time; I'll try strapping it in both directions. It's probably the best unit out there but, I'm not dazzled. I'm sure, with a few tweaks, I'll be happy with it for a while. It was easy to assemble. ... show more
