  • Love it!
I honestly picked this up because I saw it on City Steading Brews, on YouTube, and feel in love with it! It’s a lot stronger and durable than some other plastic spoons and has assisted me with loads of brews. All of the plastic feels quite thick so I don’t see this breaking any time soon! I do wish there was a longer one, for larger containers but I make do. ... show more

  • Tips for the sealed Spadle.
Perfect for beer or still mixing. After cooking, which it works very well for, I use it for yeast agitation, wrapped in its own bung stopper. Great for turbo or high ABV yeast that sometimes needs a "Kick". Oxygen and "Aeration" are needed for fermentation, but I don't ferment in a lab. If my yeast needs O2, it will draw it in through the CO2 vent, or I can open it for a second if it stops bubbling. I use a secondary hole in my 5 gal buckets, with an airtight bung stop for the first couple of days of fermentation. After that, I use the CO2 to fill mt secondary fermentation bucket and the priming bucket. ... show more

  • Just Go and Buy It Already
I've seen a lot of youtube brewers use this or products like it so I had to see what the hype was. Easy to use, it's a stirring paddle and a spoon so it's straight forward instructions. I used a softer sponge to clean it just so I don't scratch the plastic up but cleaning it up was as simple as wiping down and rinsing off. The size is perfect for my smaller fermenters up to two gallons for me without reaching in to the vessels but for my bigger buckets, this product won't cut it. The product is sturdy and made of a harder plastic so I feel it will be able to withstand a lot of beatings lol. For the price I found it, I'm glad I purchased it and I recommend it for others that are looking for a easy stirrer. ... show more
