The media could not be loaded. As a low maintenance person, unfortunately my clothes either always have wrinkles, or I'm using a hair straightener to get out those major creases. Ironing has always been such a force, pulling out the ironing board, reading the clothing tags to make sure I don't melt off an arm by accident. So, giving Nori a try was not high on my priorities, but I am SO glad I decided to go for it. Firstly, my only criticism is that Nori is not as powerful as a full blown iron. I think this is kind of to be expected though, and in my personal opinion, the appeal of Nori is that I can use this on the go, quickly, conveniently, and anywhere. A real iron is bulky, heavy, HOT (some fingertips are still traumatized), and can only be used with an equally clunky board. I love how I can plug Nori in, and in 10 minutes, I can unplug it, and head out the door. Aesthetically, I love the way she looks. The green throughout the packaging, the device and even the cord feels premium, and I LOVE the suede cord clip to keep the cord neatly wrapped. The mode screen on the front of the handle is a nice touch, and its as easy as clicking a button to change the setting. I like that the settings are for different fabrics so theres no way I can mess up the heat. You can also use the Nori with or without steam too which I like because frankly, I'm not really sure which clothes are supposed to be steamed. The picture of my shirt shows the left side which I ironed with Nori, vs the right side, my un-ironed shirt which I would have worn out like this. The iron works. I tried using distilled water and it still spit up water so I would not suggest on delicates. It will be great for travel. I need to try the steam solution to see if it works better however wasn’t available on Amazon. I ironed jeans and it worked perfectly. I was so excited to use this. I’ve just about had it with steamers that spray water everywhere and, as such, a heated plate seemed like the right option to explore. As a proficient flat iron user, I was hoping this would be my new go-to, replacing my iron and steamer all at once, but this was a huge fail. Easy to get started, but it’s a nightmare with dress shirts. I didn’t bother trying pants. Impossible to get a good angle, whether I laid the garment flat or hung it from a hanger.
