well this appears to be a very nice coat. I put it on in the house and immediately started sweating which does not happen with my all wool coat. I like that this coat is longer (to my knees) and has a zipper thot opens from the top and bottom. I like that the hood has a little padding and that it is deep enough for me to push my head back in it and get cheek protection with out pulling the drawstrings. I is minus 5 here now and this coat is overly warm with a sweater underneath. I am curious to see how warm I stay in the wind - maybe tomorrow.. have had it for a few weeks now. Is good in minus 4 and wind. I like that it is loose fitting. I don't like that the sleeves are lined and trying to get a sweater in and out of the sleeves is a stugg.e ... show more

I just love this coat. It is a level of quality that exceeds the price and kept me warm throughout Ohio's most recent winter. I got a large enough size to add layers under the coat as weather demanded. I bought this coat for walking my dog in cold rainy weather. Coat is warmer than expected. Good zippers and you can cinch the cuffs with the Velcro straps. Thick Sherpa lining keeps you warm. It’s fits large because it’s also supposed to be a change robe. I like the length. Even though it’s open at the bottom you stay warm. So far I’ve used it in windchills of 10°-20° and it’s kept me warm with just a sweatshirt underneath. Pleasantly surprised at the quality. ... show more

This coat is a great value. It actually is nicer than the picture. The coat does run big, so I suggest buying a size down. I could not be more pleased. No doubt it will help keep me warm in the frigid northeast-it’s the second best thing than moving to a warmer climate!

Excellent product at a great price. Very well made. It is roomy enough to wear layers underneath. I live in Wisconsin and I'm certain with the right liner it will handle pretty much any weather we've got here.
