it works ok but not super stable. stable enough to do the exercise but you have to keep your balance. I am not using it as designed. I attach it to something on the wall but my feet don't directly touch the wall so there's nothing the sole of my feet is touching. But it allows me to work on my hamstrings. Quality is great. the adjustment clamp is much better an easier to use than my expectations, and it works great at holding the loop adjustment in place. The pad is excellent, the nylon webbed strap is strong the Metal strap adjustment buckle is sturdy, The foam ankle rollers are Going to last a long time. Having previously owned a gym with heavy duty equipment including a gluteham raise, I was hesitant to purchase something like this for at home use.
