NorCal Organic whey comes exclusively from the organic milk of grass-fed jersey cows in Northern California. Our cows spend over 300 days outside while Midwest cows are lucky to spend 180 days on pasture. Each 25 gram serving contains 21 grams of protein and 4.9 grams of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA's) which aid in recovery and promote lean muscle. I bought Whey unflavoured classic so no additives like the seed oil emulsion. I’m on a Carnivore diet and at times before the gym and after I like to have something that I can take in with me and drink after. I can’t steak a steak in there so this pure Whey shake serves me till I can go grill a Ribeye at home. I haven’t felt GI issues like with A1’s B-CM7. So that’s an added benefit. The whey powder with water and lots of salt is what I put in a vortex shaker and simply shake up. Doesn’t have lumps or anything and it’s very smooth and creamy like it’s got butter added to it or something— a total creamy treat! I tried doing the frothing stick to see if I needed it but it produces the same effects as the shaker— no lumps.

Not sure what happened with the previous run of products but I just bought the plain protein again with the sunflower lecithin and it's mixing beautifully into water with just a spoon to stir it now. Just lovely. Best price out there on clean whey protein.

The product itself is great - it smells and tastes good. I love the creamy texture. Unfortunately I developed an allergic reaction - my body got covered with rash within an hour of consuming the protein. But that’s just me. Please check if you’re whey protein allergic before buying this product, as you won’t be able to return it.

Doesn’t make me phlegm up like other dairy products. Expensive but worth it if you want whey with no gunk. Makes my blender clunk up bad though because it gets super foamy/frothy so that kind of sucks but it’s the nature of whey protein/a mechanical thing moreso that the whey being a bad food item.

It’s ok.. I was looking for a clean protein powder that tasted good. But this one makes my smoothies taste something like cheese. Not sure how to describe it but it made me feel nauseous and I’m scared to make another shake with this.
