  • Limit your TDP to 90W
Pretty good for the size, but don't expect any miracles. A TDP set on BIOS to 90W seems to be the maximum it can sustain. The installation process is not the best I've experienced.

  • Be careful with thermals on k chips
I used this on a 12600k mini itx build. Was hitting 85/90 degrees celcius stock in cinebench (I did not let testing resume when it hit 90). Was also hitting 85 degrees in some cpu intensive games...Rather than purchasing a new cooler I disabled e-cores and undervolted by 50 millivolts...my temps are way better. With cinebench I still hit 80 degrees but in games it generally runs 60-65 degrees which is very appropriate. ... show more

  • Will work with 12600k if undervolted
I'm writing this review as I was looking for a Mini ITX CPU Cooler and the information at this time can be very limited. First off, I wouldn't recommend this for a K series CPU (especially 12700k/12900k), but if you want this to work for a 12600k it CAN be done at decent temps. At base clocks for normal daily tasks/light gaming it will do fine around 60-70C. But this will throttle if running max load (will reach 100C within minutes). With an undervolt of -.075 I was able to keep temps below 90C at max load for 20min. Cinebench scores were stable and were about the same as before. During gaming I am getting around 55C now. Definitely do not get this cooler if you want to overclock the 12600k (again do not get this cooler at all for a 12700k/12900k); but this is an excellent cooler for its size. Also your results may vary depending on your case; I did my testing on the Meshilicious. ... show more

  • Don't use for powerful CPUs.
It's a nice cooler and it fits in very neatly. I stupidly went for a low profile cooler because I wanted my motherboard to look nice through the glass case. I have this thing next to high performance memory and on a ASUS ROG Strix mobo. It COOKS. I have idle temps at around 35 C, but it'll shoot up to 70-80 C when playing a game or something. I honestly just thought a big Hyper 212 style cooler was going to be overkill since I didn't plan on overclocking. Hopefully I'll be able to return this and trade up for a water cooled system. Literally this thing is at the same level as my motherboard heatsinks. So between the small amount of heatsink material since it's low profile and my graphics card churning out heat at max load, this cooler really struggles to dissipate any significant amount of heat. Installation is pretty easy but it could've either done with better instructions or a more robust mounting system. I think this cooler would be great for perhaps a firewall or NAS, etc. ... show more

  • For lower TDP CPUs!!!
Please ignore the reviews of people trying to use this cooler on 12600, 700 or even 900(!!!) k-chips. I’m using this on an undervolted 12400 which is using no more than 65 watts of power during a cinebench r23 multi core run and this fan is keeping temps around the low 70s. While idle I’m seeing around 30C. And this thing is dead silent almost, even above 1000 RPM! I’m throughly impressed. For 65 watts and under this is THE cooler to get. ... show more

  • Easy and convenient to install
Fairly easy to install if you use a partner. Trying if by yourself is difficult.
