    • This works great, but it has a very annoying feature!!!
I got this for an External USB sound card for my PC. Works great except when the PC is off, if I don't turn the amp off, it apparently has a feature where it announces "PC Mode". I had no idea this thing had a built in speaker. I do not want it to keep announcing "PC Mode" when the computer is off. I didn't want to have to turn it on and off every time I turned the PC on. This could be very annoying if you want this device to be hidden out of sight. ... show more

    • Big sound from a little package!
This compact amplifier does a great job and packs a punch for being so small. I was very impressed with it's size and performance. I am using mine for two bookshelf speakers as an alternative to the poor internal speakers of my 65 inch Flat Panel and this amp can hit low and loud. Plus this amp is 12 volt powered with cuts down on power consumption and can be used in an automotive situation. I am very satisfied with this product! ... show more

    • A cute little desktop amp, connectivity not perfect
This little desktop amp is quite good, and does a solid job at amplifying music on small bookshelf speakers to a level where you can use it for basic music listening, can't get loud loud of course. Connectivity is really the only main issue I have with it. While Bluetooth works just fine (and disables when connected with USB) but is not super intuitive. Also when connected via USB to a computer the volume control on the device yields some rather unpleasant noises when you adjust the volume directly on the connected computer (Windows tested here), as it tries to turn up the signal volume only to realize that USB connectivity comes as clean signal only so it goes up and down a lot before finding the signal level. There is no input selection which possibly is ok for most, as you likely would not connect it to more than one device, I would however love to have a simple switch so I can flip back and forth between USB and Bluetooth. And finally the annoyance that the USB input is on the front of the device (along with line in minijack), Yes I know there is pretty much no more space on the back with the speaker and power input, but it makes it hard to make it sit in a stable position on a desktop with cables on both sides. ... show more

I bought a house with some high quality in-ceiling speakers. I haven't been able to test if they even work, so I bought this little device to power them for testing purposes. I connected a Chromecast Audio, and off we went. All I can say is that the sound quality is jaw droppingly good. I'm no audiophile but my wife and I were both floored.     • If using for sim racing, you NEED to pair this with a 5.1 card!
TLDR: it reboots itself a lot while using just the USB connection, fix it by using a 5.1 external sound card and running a 3.5mm jack from this card to the 5.1. As another review mentioned, there is a disconnect issue with this product if you're using it by itself for sim racing (with simhub specifically). When using the USB plug to connect the device, it will often disconnect/reboot itself at random times. It will stop working, say "PC load!" and then cause iracing to stutter. It's very quick, but it's enough to cause an incident if you're at an unforgiving track like Long Beach. I bought a VA Link 5.1 card to test out if this product was just defective or if the USB connection was the issue. The 5.1 card fixed all of my issues and I don't have any issues with rebooting mid race anymore. ... show more

My friend wanted a little more volume on his 60.00 Victrola with small built in speakers. We got a couple of decent passive speakers at the Salvation Army and hooked them up to this cool Nellobsound Mini Bluetooth through the headphone jack, and wow! louder than he'll ever want.
