Bought it used, came out perfect with everything working. It for me personally more than enough, I have a single big speaker that I bought at the thrift store i wanted to get some use out of, and this is definitely the way to go. It has Bluetooth to connect to your phone to use Spotify and whatnot but also comes with cords, which I connected the aux directly to my tv and I could enjoy movies with better sound now. If you're looking to get use from some speakers the most cost efficient way possible like me , get this product and don't wast money on av reciever or stuff like that unless you got Hella money to spend and have multiple speakers to connect . My application of this little guy is probably an end case... I have a big piece of property and my wifi will not reach certain areas... so I bought this guy and tied it into outdoor speakers and connect through a USBc cable... it does the job... no listener fatigue... the speakers help... I'm also an audiophile... Krell... Audio Research... magneplanar... this ain't it... but if you want a little simple device under 30 bucks that would tie into a WiiM endpoint or a single source like an iphone and have nice sound... this is an easy choice... ... show more

I went for the used option and saved some cash. The blue tooth reception and transmission is impecable. Nice power output. I used it to power a couple of old Bose outside speakers that came with the home when purchased. The little amplifier worked flawlessly.     • Great little amp
It sounds good, works good, but weird anomaly. I have this connected to a pair of sony bookshelfs. I use bluetooth so i can connect multiple PCs. Pairing was straight forward and easy. The connection is solid and stable with no drops. I am very impressed by the connection stability. It has plenty of juice to power the speakers. The overall sound is great. The amp is small. Controls are straight forward. Getting everything connected and wired was easy. My only problem is that occasionally the sound level drops a little then goes back to normal. Its most notable while listening to music as it is easier to tell when the volume lowers. Otherwise, its a great little amp that has a stable bluetooth connection. It allows me to easily connect different devices through bluetooth and it sounds great. ... show more

Love these little amps! I used two of them to run multiple bass shakers on my sim rig. They work great, look nice and provide more than enough power to run my bass shakers. Highly recommend if you’re looking to DIY some bass shakers.

    • Too weak for bass shakers, lying about output
Don't buy this for bass shakers. No idea why idiots always recommend it. Have it running 2x Dayton BST-1 bass shakers on iracing with in game LFE enabled and the amp overheats after about 5 minutes at 100% output, 15 minutes at 80%, 30 minutes at 50% where you can barely feel the shaking. The included power supply is 19v 3.42a which can only provide peak output of around 65w, so about 32W per channel, probably close to 20w RMS per channel. Not sufficient for BST-1 bass shakers which are rated 50w RMS. If you're looking for a bass shaker amplifier, these chinese brands are all about the same, spend the little extra and get one that does 100w x2 and includes a stronger power supply. Contacted support and they suggested using a stronger power supply. So I can overheat it even faster? They finally offered a 5% off coupon on another product instead of a return or refund. I would have preferred to swap it out for one of their stronger offerings, but bought a different brand instead because of that insult of an offer. The products are cheaper on amazon than their own website even with 25% off. Some advice if you primarily play iracing, the in game LFE is single channel, so just get a BST-300EX and a single good mono amplifier that can handle 300w RMS, don't bother with the dual BST-1. You can't really feel much difference between front and rear, let alone side to side on a multi channel setup. TLDR bad buy ... show more

This was offered to me as a discounted item with a pair of Douk bass transducers. The price point was already pretty appealing before that. So far, it’s working pretty well but I had to buy a separate 100W power supply to get the most oomph out of my setup. My main gripe is the bluetooth functionality. Every now and then, whatever I’m doing gets interrupted with a voiceover that I can only assume is part of the bluetooth pairing process, it only plays through the connected transducers and is unintelligible. Totally breaks the immersion of whatever I’m in the middle of, I’m likely going to take it apart and modify it to outright disable bluetooth. ... show more

    • Very decent for the the size and cost -- far from "unbelievable" though
The reviews that claim this is "unbelievable for the size and cost" are rather... apocryphal. That said for a USB DAC, I would definitely say it's fairly decent, and overall does a good job. I use this to drive some 160W Pioneer reflex loudspeakers and it does a good job; I have this amp at 1/4 on the volume dial and that's plenty enough for room easy listening, with little noticeable distortion and no obvious clipping. The connectors on the back work with both spliced cables or banana plugs; I did reuse some existing decent audio cables and it's comical how they drag the small lightweight amp down. I do have some cons though: - By default the unit seems to enter Bluetooth mode (blue status led) and I need to unplug/replug the USB cable for it to switch back to USB (green status led). - Mode changes are accompanied by an absolutely unnecessary "USB mode" or "Bluetooth mode" announcement via the speakers. I wish this could be turned off as it's wholly unnecessary to hear when I power up my system. - When the USB plug is connected and the laptop source is not issuing any sound, there's a clear white noise hiss coming out of the speakers. It is _very_ noticeable. That does not happen in BT mode. So let that sink a bit: in USB mode, there's a clear *analog* white noise hiss when there's no USB signal... That leads me to believe they don't turn the amp off even though the USB is not providing any data. That white noise is present in the "quiet" sections of music too. - I tried to use it in BT mode and there's a clear noticeable delay, at least 250 ms or more. It's significant enough that I can't watch a movie with that in BT mode. - The power supply is fairly light and never seems to get too hot. Probably the typical buck converter design. It would not be a bad idea to put these behind a power strip and cut power completely when you're done. Bottom line : The sound is acceptable for what costs a fraction of a proper USB DAC. However the BT/USB switch and the mode announcements are real turns off. ... show more
