I love this rug so much that I bought it twice. The 1st picture attached is the [2nd] rug straight out of the package. It comes compressed, but is truly soft straight out of the package, and fluffy and beautiful within 48 hrs. I ordered the same size, but as you can see from the 2nd picture (w/kids on it), the original one I ordered is smaller than the newer one. (Larger rug. Same price? A plus!!!) Why did I have to buy another you ask? Because I washed the rug in a washing machine, as "advertised" in the instructions. It was washed in a commercial machine (because my home washer was too small) on cold and a gentle cycle. It STILL messed up the carpet's lining. The lining broke apart and the rug was never the same again. ANNNND it lost its amazing softness. :'( Your experience may be different, but I offer a word of caution and say simply spot clean the rug when necessary and it will stay amazingly beautiful, fluffy, and soft.

I first purchased one of these for my daughter's dorm to go between the beds. 5 minutes later, I decided to purchase another one (because the price was so great!) to go between my other 2 daughter's twin beds- today we received the one for home and it fit perfectly between the 2 beds and my daughters are so happy with the sizing and the color. We purchased the gray color, but this rug comes in so many pretty colors! It does NOT shed at all-of course we just received it today, but we did walk on it quite a bit with our socks on. So, we received the package and it was vacuum packed and once the package was opened it poofed up. The directions said that the bottom underpad would puff up in 1-2 days so we are waiting on that. It is non slip underneath, but I may still buy something to give it a little more added lift to make the underpad seem thicker. All in all, this is so worth it for the money! WE bought the 4 x 5.3. I am so so happy with our purchase so far! Plus I ordered it with Prime on a Saturday and it arrived on a Sunday, the next day! AWESOME! The one I ordered for my daughter's dorm I had shipped directly to her dorm and will be super easy for her to carry back to her room from the mail room because the package is so compact and not real heavy at all. I also ordered that one on Saturday and that is scheduled to arrive 3 days later on Tuesday, which is not back considering her dorm/college is a bit remote. (Our home one probably arrived so quickly because Amazon has a facility like 7 minutes from my home!) :)

Memory foam is wonderfully thick, the shag is luxurious and soft on feet. Perfect for my kitchen as the larger size fits betwwen my sink and stove so my toes are warm and softly cushioned. So fun to have this beautiful color to brighten my day!

Inflates to full size as promised. Looks very creased at first, which naturally fades over a few days and some foot traffic. The shag is thick and comfortable underfoot when walking, but the padding is a little thinner than I'd like; it's not very comfortable for longterm standing without shoes. The texture is fine for walking, but feels a little strangely slick after extended skin-on-rug contact as your hands/feet start to sweat. It's nowhere near bad enough to be a slipping hazard, but it doesn't feel great. On the other hand, the rug has an unexpected benefit: it traps pet hair surprisingly well, which can be vacuumed up at leisure. I don't find furballs floating around anymore.

I bought this carpet as an accent to my grandson's room. It's not soft and cushy but it is soft and Shaggy you can kind of see through to the bottom weave that the fiber is attached to but for the price you spend you cannot beat this purchase. It looks great the functionality was perfect for what I was going for. It lays completely flat and the color is exactly as described matched my curtains and comforter perfectly I haven't watched it yet or vacuumed it yet but I can tell you this I can see it lasting at least a year and for the cost who cares if I had to buy another one it's a great value for your money

When I bought this rug I tried hard to like it. I promise, I did. For the first few days, all was well. It was the day I started (read: attempted) to vacuum this rug that I fell out of love with it. Let me say this first: This rug magically attracts all sorts of of things - perhaps it is the material, static charge, I don't know. Even though this rug is in my bedroom, it is constantly in need of cleaning. EVERYTHING gets stuck to it. Fuzzies on socks? Yep. Lint from your pocket? Absolutely. My dog chewed a rawhide on it, and pieces of it are still stuck to it after cleaning the rug a dozen times. I just gave up. Don't get me wrong - it looks very nice, and it is a plush rug that's both attractive and comfortable to walk on. It seems well made with its non-stick backing and workmanship overall, but what good is any of this when one cannot vacuum it well? It's shag AND it attracts bits and bops... I have a Dyson that is too powerful for this rug, even without the use of the beater bar. When I use it, parts of it gets sucked into the machine, and the rug looks like roadkill when I am done cleaning it. So I said, "let's try something with less suction" - and my tiny little stick vac from Dirt Devil made a lot of noise, but did nothing much in terms of cleaning. Back to the Dyson; this time, I used the attachment with the hose. More work than before with the same result. The moral of all this is the following: Buy the rug if you like it, just don't buy the black color - and accept that "things" will live in the shag fibers of the rug indefinitely. Whether or not it is the synthetic nature of the material that attracts stuff, its length, or both; make sure you can live with it prior to ordering it.
