I love my kindle scribe and stylus. I went through the three nubs that came with the scribe within two months so I decided to get these. I was skeptical about using because I didn’t want to scratch the screen off my scribe up, but I’ve had the same metal one in for probably close to 6 months without any scratches on my scribe even when my girls decide to draw on it (9 & 4). I highly recommend if you want something that is going to last and still feels like a normal writing instrument .

This product was bought for both my standard and pro pen for the Kindle Scribe, and I have had no issues with either pen after purchasing it. I love my Scribe, but the plastic tips wear out very quickly. I was concerned that the metal tips would cause scratches to the screen or not feel as good as the plastic. I have not noticed any scratches through normal use for several months. Pros: It lasts forever. After several months of consistent use, I have not noticed any wear to the tips. With the plastic, I would have had to replace it several times. It does not scratch the screen. Through normal use (not pressing down crazy hard) you will not scratch your screen. Cons: It seems overpriced for such a small piece of metal. I know that the parts have to be precisely made to avoid scratches, but the price still seems higher than it needs to be. ($16.99 was my purchase price.) The tip does not write as well as the plastic. This is more of an opinion, but I like how the plastic wrote better. The plastic would also seem to be closer to the Kindle which made the writing more natural. However, this is a tradeoff that is still worth me moving to metal tips. Overall, this product is a 4 out of 5. It would be a higher rating if the price was lower but overall, it is a great product. I recommend this to anyone looking to reduce the frequency of tip replacements.

I've been using mine on my scribe for 6 months now and I use it A LOT. I write notes all day long. I have not had any "phantom lines" as some people have noted. No scratches and it still feels like I'm writing on paper. I did not use the tips the scribe came with very much because I wanted the tips that wouldn't wear out, so I can't really compare the how they feel, but I have no complaints about how these write.
