I haven't had the watch for long, so I can't say how long it will last. But based on looks, it was a great buy. It also feels pretty sturdy. No complaints from me.

My wife loves the look of this watch. She has a rather petite wrist so there are many watches that look too big on her. However, this watch is the perfect size. In her own words... “Delicate looking just as it’s displayed in the ad. It is light and comfortable to wear. I expected it to be a little bigger but I really like its size while wearing it. Easy to tell the time and its quartz movement has worked well so far.” There are a few other reviews stating that this has an mechanical movement. That is incorrect. It is a battery operated quartz movement. It’s almost guaranteed to be a Chinese movement but don’t let that dissuade you from buying it. Chinese quartz movements can be quite reliable. My wife prefers analog watches -- it's just her "thing". Plus she wears a watch like jewelry -- match the watch to the outfit, and maybe even be able to tell what time it is. This watch is a good watch for her. Elegant, feminine, and nice to look at. The second hand also makes it practical for nurses and others that need to time events like heart beats and breaths. The numerals are all Roman Numerals, all 12 of them. They are easy to read. They are printed in black on a white face. The band fits my wife nicely (she has relatively small wrists, but not tiny), with a few holes left on each side of the one she needs to use. I'd say it's an "average" size watch band. The holes in the band are small and tight to fit the buckle pin into the first time. The band is a nice rich brown, about the same color as the dark Buster Brown shoes I had as a kid. It's as good as any of the other watches in her collection -- she says, "sure, give it 5 stars -- I like it!". ... show more

Yay. I finally found a watch that doesn't look like a man's watch! I know big smart watches are all the rage, but I just wanted a simple, pretty watch that I can look at the time with while I am on shift. This is a very thin wristband that isn't obtrusive in a very simple face in Roman font. Unfortunately, the wristband is just a bit too small for me. I had to poke an extra hole. I am a fairly large woman and I have a good size wrists - I measured my left one just now at about 7 & a half inches circumference, or 19.4 cm/194 mm. This was just a little short for a wrist of that size. Other than that, the watch is fine. It looks pretty and the cream colored band is very attractive. It's ordinary leather, not soft brushed. It comes with directions in five languages, but it's not complicated – take off the wrapping, pull out the knob, remove the little plastic piece keeping the knob in place during shipping, set the time, return the knob. I timed a single revolution of the second hand against a stopwatch and it was as correct as my reflexes could call. And now that it has an extra hole it's fine! 4/16/2024. This is a motion wind, as in your wrist moves it winds. No battery. No hand winding necessary. It's keeping great time. Love that it's a wind up. Nice contrast with the white background and black hands. I ordered the white strap. Had a great review written that Amazon kicked out when the picture wouldn't attach. It's been on my wrist an hour, all's well. The directions stink. If you've had a wind up watch you'll know what to do. If you haven't the term 'chain up' roughly means turn the crown which is the little piece sticking out near the 3. Pull out the little shipping protector behind the crown. To wind give the crown a little nudge to be sure it's in all the way and rotate the crown with your thumb away from you (clockwise) it says 30 times. To set, gently pull out the crown, rotate it counter clockwise to turn the hands clockwise. Put on wrist, the holes in strap are small, I had trouble lining them up. There is so much unnecessary packaging, recyclable I think, appears to be mostly paper. I received the watch as a promotion. ... show more
