The whole set looks sturdy but not bulky. The aluminum alloy material is of moderate weight and will not press down the roof as much as the all-steel ones, but it is not less stable. After it is installed, it is very stable when driving at high speed or passing through bumpy roads without any shaking. The adjustable design is very practical. No matter you have an SUV, pickup, UTV or truck, as long as there is a basic cross bar, it can basically be installed. The front and rear cargo basket structures are also flexible. I installed it on the rear of a pickup to carry tents, fishing rods and some tools, which is much more convenient to use. The cargo net that comes with it is also very thick and has good elasticity. It can firmly fix large items and is very suitable for camping or transporting on construction sites. Although the installation process requires some hands-on ability, the accessories are complete and the instructions are clear. It takes about an hour to install it slowly by yourself. The overall structure is sturdy and durable. The aluminum alloy material not only ensures the load-bearing capacity, but is also much lighter than all-steel. When installed on a pickup truck, SUV or truck, it will basically not cause too much pressure on the roof. Its size is adjustable, and the front and rear cargo baskets can be flexibly adjusted according to the length of the roof. It fits me just right when I installed it on a Tacoma. There were detailed diagrams and well worded direction. The accessory itself is well made and durable. It is easy to install. It expands my cargo capacity when taking care of things on the land. I ahve4 this mounted in the bed of my old school John Deere Gator and I could not be happier with it. It arrived damage free and was not difficult to assemble. I now have a place to keep my chain saw and gas can while leaving the bed open for firewood. I would buy this rack again. 5 STARS
