Literally Just Received AND AM THRILLED with these size 1Short Pure Betsy Wallflower boot cut jeans... I'm 5'2.5" (ya gotta claim every fraction of an inch at this height😉) and 118lbs, and after trying assorted others (including my BFF brand, Democracy) can't believe the look and feel of this pair of barely-flare jeans. No hemming required, not too long or too short -- surprisingly with sneakers OR 1.75" boots; BOTH work... the wash is ALSO perfection, with a hint of EVER so subtle fade, but none of that artificial/cheap-looking whiskering/creasing. They hug butt hips, thigh and even inner knees (mine, sadly are a bit thick and these snug them up nicely) then loosen almost to what I'd call a perfect, if slightly wide boot cut. They hold you in where you'd want, yet are not rough or un-comfy at all; they feel durable, too. Time will tell. The overall effect is an hour glass shape more timeless and flattering by FAR, than barrel legs, and dramatic flare or bell bottoms, that makes me feel confident, even sassy. These feel like a classic profile that will outlast trends; they are, IMHO, THE PERFECT MODERN BOOTCUT JEANS -- As a petite 5'2 (and 1/2, hehe) I want to send a message to Wallflower: "PLEASE, NEVER DISCONTINUE THIS PROFILE WITH ITS PERFECT PETITE FIT." I am only 5 ft and weigh between 112 and 114. My hips are 35 and waiste is a 27/28 just to give you an idea of body shape . I Normally wear a 2 short. I bought my first pair in a 3 short. And they fit pretty well but we’re just a tiny bit lose for me but honestly not enough to send back . I decided to get a second pair in 1short in the black pair. They fit perfect. I normally would have no business in a 1 , but with these pants it was fine. They have a good amount of stretch to them and I like my jeans snug. Now by snug I do not mean so tight I have trouble buttoning them or anything, I just like them to stay in place especially if they’re stretch jeans. If I’m able to update this review I will post a picture of each pair on me in the front and back. The other thing I love about them, is they have high pockets in the back! I do not like low pockets! Meaning I’d like my pockets to sit above the curve of my “bum” in the back . I have a rounder Backside and higher pockets are much more flattering. Jeans with lower pockets that go over the curve of my bum look silly on me. Lastly, if you are my height, 5 foot even, and wear heels with your jeans, these are the perfect size. They do not reach floor and sit right where the heel starts. With flat shoes you have some slack , but not to much as long as you order short length. Hope this helps you short girls in my weight range because lord knows it’s really hard to find pants in our size! Update: after wearing these jeans for several months I have to tell you that a good belt with them is a lifesaver. reason being because they have a good amount of stretch they’ll fit wherever you want them to, but you want them to stay in place where you put them if that makes sense? (some of you know exactly what I’m talking about others will learn the hard way) . So once you have them where you want them put a belt on. ... show more

Fit perfectly just enough stretch! She usually wears a size 2 but these started at 1 next size 3. It helped that I checked the size guide and saw the size 1 was more like a 2 in other brands. I've been wearing this brand for years now, & the fit is always perfect & comfortable. When I could no longer find Levi's in my size (even though they gapped in the back), I found Arizona jeans. When I could no longer find the Arizona brand in my size, I took a chance on Wallflower & have been buying them ever since. This seems to be the only company that understands that you can have curves even though you're small-framed. I don't bother to shop any other brand anymore. Some of the colors are a bit more dressy than others. I will buy the Luscious Curvy style as long as it's made. I highly recommend this style! ... show more

Update: rhinestones on the back pockets all fell off with one wear. It’s like they weren’t even glued on! Just cheap. I didn’t like them on the back pockets anyways, but it’s the principle. I’m 5’4” 116lbs and pear shaped. I ordered size 1 short. I was looking for some cute mid rise boot cut jeans after seeing that the whole y2k trend is coming back into style. The ones I ordered came with more “bling” than shown in the picture. I don't personally like that look. The waist was gapping a bit on me. The short length was a bit short surprisingly, even though I have very short legs. I’m pretty sure a size down would be too small. I am giving the pants one more try I ordered the solid black color (that appears to have no bling at all) in regular length and may have to take in the waist. The light wash ones pictured I’m giving to a family member who likes them. Cute jeans through I hope the black ones I just ordered I like better. ... show more
