We have this upstairs bathroom window in an old house that I didn't want to put curtains or blinds on. The small room needs all the natural light it can get! We decided to cover the lower half with this film to provide privacy while still getting plenty of light. This took me (alone) maybe 5 minutes to put on while reaching over a toilet, 7 months pregnant, with 2 toddlers in the bathtub next to me. Yes, it would have been easier and more perfectly cut with 2 people, but I was thrilled with the results! I do recommend having two people to help un-peel it and to help with the cuts. You cut a piece bigger than the window, apply it, then cut off the excess. I recommend using a utility knife/razor blade. It's not overly sticky and can be repositioned very easily. It's for sure the least intimidating window 'treatment' I've ever dealt with. The product is great and we are so happy with it! One last bit of advice - apply it at night. It's way easier to see the air bubbles at night. But if you miss some, you can still squeegee it out later.

The LED bulbs I installed in place of the old fluorescent bulbs were a bit harsh on the eyes when you happened to look at them. I cut this stuff into strips and wrapped it around the exposed part of the bulb and it worked great. Sticks just fine, hasn't fallen off after a month and it definitely softened the light. Happy!

I was super impressed with how easy these were to install and how much privacy they provide. I looked into professional jobs which were very expensive, these weee a very affordable alternative.

I have leaded glass designs in my front door. I didn't like that people could see in. I EASILY applied this product and no one can see in again. What's even better is that you cannot tell from the outside that I applied the film. The door glass is still just as pretty. Perfect product to solve my issue.

Film quality is great easy to apply not much trouble to apply, the only little issue is that film is too see through for a shower doors, happy with the choice of color and quality besides the see through issue

So glad I waited until I had help putting this up. Two of us struggled for at least half hour to get it on right. Used it on shower glass "wall" panel, had to cut around 3 of the glass fasteners. It stuck pretty well but we had to keep misting it with water and it was easy to accidentally pull back and have to re-wet and swipe with (old driver license, credit card etc..) straight edge to push out bubbles. After all was said and done, there's a strip down one side it is showing bubbling even though at first it was fine. So something is causing it to not adhere completely. I suspect hard water stains that I couldn't see. Most of it is adhering well, staying sealed down. Unfortunately we didn't see until we got to the bottom all on, that there's a manufacturing dark streak in the plastic. DARN IT. I haven't contacted sell yet as we just applied it now in September, but I bought it in July. As hard as it was to put on, I would still appreciate a replacement and will update my review if they say they will send a replacement. I am uploading picture of the finished glass application and a close up of the line running down the middle bottom, vertically. You're brave if you tackle this yourself! It can probably be done, but at our age with our achy joints and backs it was a bit of a struggle. A much smaller area such as cutting small 8x10 window segments or something would be a breeze, I suspect. But a whole shower glass which takes up all but an inch strip of the roll, best you have some help to juggle the roll, pulling back the film, a sprayer bottle, and straight edge to swipe out the bubbles from under the film. All in all it is a good product. I would buy it again. It does allow plenty of light through and you can see movement through it without a lot of detail. I didn't buy it for privacy though, I bought it to have something to protect the shower glass from our hard well water, while still having light come into the bathroom from the window in the shower area.
