I have a Smallrig and Falcam cage for Sony ZV-E! and E10 ii. Some cages block part of the hot shoe mount which prevents me from using my DJI Mic 2 adapter. This one does not. The product photos mention vertical shooting, which the ZV-E10 ii supports. Look closely, this requires a plates to be screwed into the mounting wholes on the sides. There are many, clearly marked 1/4 and 3/8 mounting holes on the top and sides of the cage. The Nato rail mount on the left side worked well for a side handle or a top handle for holding in vertical shooting orientation. This paired with the Arca plate for mounting to a half V-mount cage makes for many rigging options. Excellent tool storage in the bottom for the hex key and screw tool. Only Con I found: If you use smaller quick release plates, such as the Falcam F38, then the deep cutout section in the Arca plate gives you few options to mount the quick release plate.

Very nicely made and milled well. Edges are smooth, and the extra mount holes and moving the cold shoe slightly left makes mic's clear on a gimbal a lot easier. It keeps all the relevant buttons open, and really the only thing that's blocked as the S&Q switch and that's only slightly. You can still move the switch out back to either photo or video mode, you just have to pick at it at an angle. Doesn't bother me much though as S&Q isn't used as much for me. I did notice it really blocks the hotshoe, so if you are using things like a Sony interface mic, or a light that needs extra front clearance, you need to either use the cold shoe mount on the cage or sadly not use the device at all. Installation was very simple. Just a screw in the bottom base, and a little clip on the side that is held in with a hex. They provide tools to install and setup the cage on the bottom held in by magnets. The hex wrench provided feels a little loose though, and will probably fall off eventually if not properly looked after. The cage is slightly bulky, but it adds a bit of ergonomics and heft to the camera that makes it feel more robust. If you are aiming for a SUPER slim profile, this will add a bit of bulk to your camera.
