I really like these lights. They look great on the stairs and provide plenty of light for that. I also needed something along a new sidewalk I put in. I dont like the ones that have a stake in the ground, as this makes mowing more difficult. So, I put these on a railroad ties I have several feet away from the sidewalk. They shine down onto the sidewalk and it looks great. I just wish they had an "intensity level" I could turn UP for this application. The triangular design is also appealing. It works perfect on steps and the landing area to shine where you need it, and you have the option of turning it a couple different ways to get the required sunlight.

I bought these for a single step which is about 30 feet wide on a large patio. It would be easy to miss for guests, and a fall could be pretty bad. These lights look fantastic, light up just the part we want to light without flooding the deck with light, and the automated solar on/off is super convenient. Just set them on the step and forget it. They come on when it's dark, shut off when it's light. I have had great experiences with other solar/automatic lights in the back yard so I bought these without fear. They've worked great all summer and I expect them to last for years.

These are very bright! The triangle shape allows repositioning for right or left sides of the staircase. I positioned them underneath the rails and they still charge to illuminate throughout the night. Be sure to choose the light color that matches the other exterior lights. These are bright white

I'm using these lights to illuminate the top steps of our exterior deck stairway. Unfortunately Indiana's overcast winter sun doesn't give us enough photons for a charge to last more than 4 hours in the evening. So while it is nice while it lasts, when it gets dark round 5PM, the lights are out before 10PM. These do seem well-constructed and bright.

Was hesitant to order these but so glad I did. Guests were constantly tripping on my porch steps due to poor visibility. Problem solved! Where they are placed receives Sun for only a couple hours every day and it is sufficient to provide pathway light for at least 4 hours - (I have not stayed up to see how long it actually lasts).

Wanted to love these but they don't always work like they should. When they work, they're great. Part of the problem is we don't always have sunny days so overcast days result in a much dimmer light. Also, sometimes I notice they seem to turn off... when I check to see why they're not on, the on/off button on the back needs to be turned back on. But when they're working, they're fantastic. In fact, they're the only light in my backyard at night so they're not only pretty but helpful.
