  • Excellent controller
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
I will preface this by saying, you get what you pay for. This is a cheap controller and parts of the construction feel bit cheap than you might be used to for Nintendo products. This is mostly aesthetic and doesn't affect functionality, but I could see how some may dislike the "feel". It's also fairly lightweight. I, for one, love the controller. It's definitely larger than most typical switch controllers and keeps my hands from cramping when playing for long periods of time. The joysticks are TOP notch and I have not noticed ANY drift at all and ive had this controller for several months. It has been used and has also sat in a drawer for some time. Either way ive had no issues with it. Even dropped it on tile floor. Definitely recommend. ... show more

  • super honest review here
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
PROs -these controllers are lighter than the switch pro controller -easy to "claw" for expert gamers -great joystick that feels more clicky than nintendo's mushy stick -dpad fully functional and large -clicky shoulder buttons -very long battery life CONs -no nfc support -feels cheaper made due to being lighter and missing features -no rumble -not sure if it has motion control, havent used my first one lasted a year or more, my second got joycon drift after just two months and theyre as expensive as a pro controller. overall its a great alternative if you need a lighter controller, thats the main advantage, but it loses some functionality like rumble in exchange. i prefer nintendo's personally. ... show more

  • Decent
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
So I finally gave this controller a try. Now I’m not sure if maybe the charge was a factor in it’s performance or if the game I was playing had anything to do with it but I noticed some if the controls on the pad had a delayed response, so I found myself needing to press the same buttons several times before I could get my in-game character to do what I wanted. That is annoying but hopefully after a full charge it will perform better? I just hope it somehow only gets better and not worse. Other than that, I do like the look and feel of it in my hands. And the default controls on this controller is way better than using the joy cons for some games and it was easy to sync it with the switch. So that’s all a plus. ... show more

  • WORKED TWICE, THEN COMPLETELY DIED.
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
While this product worked perfectly fine it's the first couple of times I used it, the third time was unfortunately not the charm. While playing my Switch and charging it all of a sudden the controller died. I found this extremely strange considering that it was currently plugged in and should not have died at all. Unfortunately this was after my 30-day money-back guarantee/Trade-in, so I was unable to get my money back or get a new one. I do recommend this product as I have used Hori products in the past, this one was an unfortunate exception to my positive reviews on the products. I do understand that not all products are made the same and HORI, while really good overall as an officially licensed company, may have just had a bad product sent to me. At the same time, however, while the product was good it was also bad. I do overall recommend this product if you're the kind of person that enjoys this kind of controller, because it is very comfortable and like I said while it worked it worked perfectly fine. However this is NOT worth the 50$ price tag as there are other products that are just as good if not better at nearly half the price. ... show more

  • 80% similar to the official NS pro controller!
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
It's my first time to buy this controller. The remote works great and feel noticeably lighter the Nintendo Switch Pro Controller! I'm amazed at this!

  • God for the price
Edition: Wireless HORIPAD (Grey)
Have had it a few months now, seems decent for what it is. The joys are much more sensitive and usable than on the Joycons. Held up so far as my family's main controller.
