  • Love it
Color is amazing, grip feel is amazing and nostalgic of the original GameCube controller. Love using this controller!

  • Great controller
This controller is pretty cool and suits my needs quite well. Has that real Gamecube controller feel to it, nice comfortable grip for somebody with hands like mine. Only downsides is that you can't configure the controls for it in the configure settings and there's no rumble feedback. But it has two additional buttons on the grips for extra button mapping which is good ... show more

  • Unresponsive customer service
The controller itself was really good for what time I got to use it. Great buttons, nice features, it just felt right in the hands. But then one day, the buttons started acting weird. My L R ZL and ZR buttons stopped working, and instead my Plus, minus, home, and screenshot buttons started acting like I was pressing multiple buttons at once. No problem, I'll just talk to customer service and get it figured out. So I emailed them through their support page on their official website. I had to give them my information a couple of times, which was weird, but not unusual. They send me a label and I ship the controller off to them, no big deal. It's been 2 months at this point, and I haven't even had the privilege of getting an update as to what's going on. The fully ignore emails and inquiry and there's no sign of the controller I paid for. ... show more

  • DO NOT BUY
Do not buy this controller. I purchased mine about a week or so ago and I didn’t abuse it at all. It worked good when it did work, but then it stopped working as I was playing Pokémon Legends Arceus. I didn’t think much of it at first, and proceeded to plug the controller in to charge, and after I let it charge for a while, it still didn’t turn on. The manufacturer of this controller can make good products (their joycons are a good example) but this just isn’t one of them. If you are in the market for a wireless GameCube controller your best bet is to find something elsewhere. ... show more

  • I wouldn't buy it again
This controller has a lot going for it. The actuators on the buttons are nice and the design for the controller is very comfortable in adult size hands. I took off three stars because for me there are three huge issues. After one month of use the left stick is stuck tilting down. I mostly play super smash Bros and I'm very casual when I play. What I mean is I don't jam the stick in any direction with excessive force and I don't take out my aggression on the controller. The left stick just simply stopped functioning correctly. The next issue is that the controller cannot be updated or calibrated. If I could calibrate the left stick then the first issue would be fixed. When you connect this controller to your switch it registers as a pro controller not a GameCube controller. If you try to go to hori's website to check support for this controller, they don't have any support suggestions for this controller's model number NSW-273. The last issue is that the controller doesn't have accelerometer or gyroscopic support even though it says it does in the listing. I decided to purchase this GameCube controller from hori because this is one of the only GameCube controllers that I can find that is rechargeable which was a key selling point to me. After one month I've gone back to primarily using my pro controller and I just kind of gave this one to my kids. It's a really nice controller but it definitely needs more QA. ... show more
