I was hesitant on purchasing this product at first, given I could receive a 3ds that is faulty or pretty scuffed up, but I was pleasantly wrong. I purchased my refurbished 3ds xl 2012 from Cavegamers and it came really quickly, I even had a question that they kindly awnsered in one day, (asking if this 3ds was a united States console, it is btw). The 3ds I received could've easily passed as brand new, the condition of the product was just amazing. The only like was a tiny hairline crack on the base that I couldn't see without a flashlight on it. The screen was perfect, no scratches or anything, absolutely satisfied with my purchase. I will note there is no sd card with it but I didn't mind given I was going to replace it with a bigger gb anyways, they did include a charger. I highly recommend this seller for refurbished goods.

I bought this to play pokemon gen 5-7 and it did not disappoint. Charger works perfectly, battery still lasts a long time, screens are both in perfect condition, no button issues, no cartridge slot issues, still has the stylus, I can't think of a single thing that would make this look or feel "used" the refurbishment was done very well. 10/10.

It’s almost like the 3DS I got was forgotten about in some Nintendo warehouse. The thing doesn’t have any scratches on it, the clicks upon opening are super crispy and the startup is buttery smooth. If someone handed this to me and said it was brand new, I’d believe them 100%. I saw that other people who bought one didn’t receive a microSD with theirs but mine came with both the charger and the SD card. Charger works great and the mSD is perfect size.

Product arrived and I was satisfied at first glance. Physical condition of the screens and body seemed to be very good. Until I tried to charge it. First, it does not come with an OEM charger, which I wouldn't complain about except the charging port is broken. The charger does not properly seat into the port. I first thought it was the third party charger, so I ordered an OEM official charger as well. Same problem. The device can't charge, hence an entire waste of money and time. Update: After reviewing the "Return Policy" and seeing that there is potential to receive a $0 return based on the sellers discretion, decided to investigate. Upon opening, found a SEVERELY SWOLLEN battery. If that's renewed, I'd hate to see As Is Condition. Ordered a new battery and renewed it myself. Seems to be charging successfully

I thought that if I bought this system that I would have to request a refund immediately after opening it and turning it on, but no!! I charged it first and when I started playing, I almost missed my college class 😅!! We’ll see how it functions a month into playing it but today it has been working great! 👍🏼

After reading some reviews I was initially skeptical, but I got the 3ds and it looks new. You can tell they refurbished this item, the hinges spring back nicely but it is a tad bit loose. Although I remember my ds doing the same thing back then. It came with its stylus and an SD card as well as the charger. Basically like new !

The console itself is in great condition. Really no wear and tear, and it runs smoothly. It just would have been nice to know beforehand that it doesn’t come with an SD card. Ultimately not too big a deal because I had one on hand I was able to use, but it was still an unexpected hiccup. Imagine if you had ordered a refurbished ps4 and it came with no hard drive. You’d be pretty pissed. It all worked out fine in this case, but a heads up about the lack of an SD card would have been helpful.

To my big surprise, the console product come in three layers or packaging. After opening the cardbox box there are another two layers of bubble wraps before a plastic envelope that wrap the actual console. So in a sense you get the bubble wraps as a fidget toy for free somehow! (Jokes) Now the console itself is nothing more than a typical old gen 3DS. It is mimimally beat up. There are some small amout of scratches on the top and bottom of the console, and the matte surface is pretty much gone due to previous use. Other than that, the color and function are as advertised without any issue. Although some minor flaws, overall it functions as promised and it is within my expectation. And for 300 or so of price range I am pretty much satisfied amd cannot ask for more.
