When I received this, I was disappointed at first because I didn't realize that I had ordered a refurbished product. I decided to keep it and I am so glad I did. I make a lot of protein smoothies with frozen fruit and not even my Kitchen aide blender can handle frozen pineapple. This little Ninja pulverizes frozen fruit in under 3 seconds! All you have to do is push the cup down on the blender and boom you have a smoothie in under 5 seconds. No buttons to push or knows to turn. It is extremely easy to operate. I really like that it came with 2 cups with lids. I didn't think I'd use the lids at home, but during a meeting, I knocked my cup down and not a drop of liquid came out of the lid. The footprint is only a few inches, so it barely takes up any space, so I can leave it out on the counter; and I have very little counter space. This is exactly what I've been looking for the last few years and it is one of my top 5 favorite purchases. ... show more

Powerful. Works like a champ. I use it every day, no problems. Got it refurbished for a great price. It looked new and was squeaky clean when it arrived. Actually, it still looks new after a few months of daily use. I'm not sure you're supposed to do this, but I run the cup and the blade part through the dishwasher once a week just to make sure no bacteria is escaping my hand washing.
