I love this laptop! Works great, no problems at all. The screen is a nice size and it can get very bright. I usually keep the night light feature activated to cut out the blue light. I have the laptop up on a stand that raises it about 6-8 inches off of the table, and a separate Bluetooth keyboard and mouse. I can use the installed keyboard, but this setup works for me. We have a large kitchen table, and I'm able to just keep it there all the time. I can put the keyboard and mouse under the computer to get it out of the way, when I want a little more room. If we have company, it's not a big deal to move it to another room. I have an older desktop that still works. I couldn't install Windows 11 on it, so I switched to Linux. That's fine, but I wanted something updated and portable. This computer is perfect for my purposes. I was a little concerned about the screen size. I am retired and use the laptop for the typical home things. Paying bills, keeping copies of important documents, watching videos, and writing an occasional email. I read the newspaper online and visit sites like Reddit. My eyes are not what they used to be, probably from so many years of looking at screens. Well, with Windows 11, it's very easy to make any website text bigger. I could even have most things read to me, if I wanted to. The only thing I am not crazy about is the speaker. It's loud enough, since I'm sitting right here next to it. But like most computers I've encountered, it's not the best speaker. My experience is that it really needs to be hooked up to an external speaker to get the best sound quality. I haven't experimented with that, so I can only assume the sound is pretty good, but nothing special. Everything loads quickly. No lag at all. That was something that was starting to bother me about my older computer. I believe I got that one in 2014, and had Windows 7, so it was definitely time for an upgrade. One feature I really appreciate is the type of cord and battery this laptop has. It uses the same charger as a cell phone, and it doesn't hurt the battery life if I keep it plugged in all the time. I don't know how new that sort of thing is on laptops, but it sure makes it nice to not have to worry about if I've let my battery run down enough to charge it again. All in all, this laptop was a great buy for me, and I am really enjoying having it for the last month. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is trying to decide if this is a quality item. You won't regret buying this cute computer.

I bought this because I want to see how their cheapest laptop compares to the higher end ones. I had this laptop for about a month now. My first impressions when opening the box was how light the device was. Setting up the device took about 30 minutes, you need a Microsoft email and a wifi connection to set up. I was able to connect it to my mobile hotspot just fine. I setup the finger print reader, but they also prompted me and have only been letting me sign in with the microsoft pin at the login screen. The finger print reader seemed to read fine though. When I finished setting up the device I was able to automatically start downloading Chrome browser and surf the web. All the sites are pretty easy to access , although there is a slight learning curve : the scroll feature. When certain sites do not have a scroll button or to not have your hand suffer from scroll fatigue (holding the scroll button to scroll ) you have to use 2 fingers on the track pad to easily scroll up and down the page . You also have to get used to the 'pinch to zoom' feature (zooming in and out with the trackpad on certain pages) . I found myself zooming in on some pages and couldn't figure out how to zoom out until I looked it up. I couldn't turn this 'pinch to zoom' feature off in Windows 11 when going to the trackpad settings, and it's different from the browser zoom in and out features. The speakers aren't bad, but they could be better. It's something to used to if you're used to a lot of bass in your speakers. It shouldn't hinder you from buying it because the speakers do it's job and they aren't terrible. They get pretty loud if you have it at max volume. The battery life is questionable. The battery lasts for about 3-4 hours off the charger with surfing on the internet (not demanding much like gaming). I like the convenience of being able to use any USB-C charger to charge it though. Overall, if you're in a pinch and need to buy a laptop I would say this device would get everything you need to get done if you intend to surf the web and watch video content. I think this laptop performed just as well as the other ones. The only thing I question is how long it'll last before it runs into issues. You probably should consider the other higher spec models if you want more battery life or do other demanding things like gaming or something that requires a lot of battery.

Update 05/01/2016 I had to return it because it got a power management defective it couldn't charge when turn the laptop on! I had tried many to fix it but still doesn't work! Gaming: Good! It only for light to moderate gaming. Video Editing: Excellent! Multitasking: Excellent! Big Screen: Excellent! Overall Good! Happy purchase, and outstanding for the spec with the price. It's faster than my old laptop. This was a super great upgrade! The laptop body itself is metal, thin, and sleek, and it looks professional. Everything from top to bottom was amazing. Before I make a purchase, what MHz RAM did they provide? Their website said Adata DDR5 4600; actually, it's 5600! This laptop is for my creative studio, video editing, and all graphic design. It works great for on-site and remote work! In my case, the first time the operation started was rough! After pressing the start button, it left a dark screen; it was supposed to show a loading screen, and I had to press F8 to fix it. You guys need to stay calm before putting the return item, though, Windows 11 Home edition! But overall, I am very happy after the disaster!

For the price point I can’t believe it!! This thing is a beast!! Newer model R7, love the graphics card although kind of intergrated but sure acts like a dedicated, backlit KB is very nice!. Webcam with cover. Ok so the specs say this too but once I had it in my hands and played some decent games with it I was Shocked! Don’t hesitate on getting this. Oh and thanks to team NIMO for hooking me up with a single 16gb stick of RAM instead of two 8gb sticks. I immediately went and got the matching 16gb stick instead of buying two new sticks of RAM. This laptop was everything I was looking for and more. I was looking for a new laptop for my college work, something that will last me a couple years with good storage and specs. I previously had an HP Laptop so I was skeptical to find something that met my standard. I ended up coming across this Nimo Student Laptop, with 16 GB ram and 1 TB storage, for a great price. My laptop was delivered quickly. It powered on well and completed its updates. It was very simple to log in and sync what was necessary. Downloading apps did not take long either. There is an option to sync your phone as well to receive notifications, messages, and calls which I thought was really cool. There is a camera cover, numeric keyboard, light-up keyboard, and a matte screen. It also has a fingerprint lock which I have found pretty convienent. I really liked how thin the screen was and how lightweight the laptop is overall. The display looked great and overall the laptop functions very well. I ordered this product back in July, and I have been very happy with it! I don’t experience lag, and it operates multiple apps well. I will say, the rose gold keyboard can be hard to see in darker lightings because the letters are silver. The brightness feature on the keyboard helps but if you are looking for something you can see I would suggest getting a different color. If you are looking for a laptop for office work, college work, or just general use and want something that is reliable, with great storage space, features, and a good battery life, this is the laptop for you. I highly recommend it! *Edit: The laptop charger box that came with this laptop unexpectedly stopped working a couple of months into usage. It is completely fried. Fortunately, I have another Type-C charger box that accommodates well, but it was dissapointing.

This laptop is a waste of money. I've had it for a year and have had nothing but problems with it for the last six months. The first issue was the charger died and would not charge the battery. I contacted customer support and they sent me a new charger in the mail pretty quickly. Then about two months ago I noticed that the touchpad had stopped working. I tried to trouble shoot the issue and fix it but nothing worked. Thankfully I know how to operate a PC without a mouse, so I figured I would just wipe the system and reinstall Windows 11. Big mistake. Now I need to reinstall the WIFI network, but there's no support downloads on the website for me to download, but there's a bunch of links to get my device repaired and check the warrenty! I bought this laptop because I needed something lightweight to take with me when I travel for work, which means it is packed in a laptop carring case and moved by car within a 20 mile radus from my home, it shouldn't be breaking down within a year of internet surfing and basic paperwork use. Now I get to toss this and save up for another, better laptop, which is what I should of done a year ago!

So far, I’m genuinely impressed with this NIMO 17.3" gaming laptop. Right out of the box, performance has been strong and responsive. The AMD Ryzen 7 8745HS handles multitasking and gaming smoothly, and with 32GB of RAM, everything feels fast and snappy with no noticeable slowdowns. The 17.3" IPS display is a major highlight. Having that larger screen makes a big difference for gaming and content consumption. Colors look vibrant, viewing angles are solid, and the extra screen real estate makes long sessions much more enjoyable. I still need more long-term time with it to fully evaluate thermals and sustained performance, but first impressions are very positive. Very good value for this laptop. I purchased it about 1 month ago, using it daily. A mix of gaming and internet browsing, etc. The performance has been just fine for the gaming I do, mostly ARPG's like Last Epoch, Project Diablo 2, Grim Dawn, and so on. Battery life is surprisingly good, and the recharge is super-fast! Took me a while to figure out how to keep the keypad lit at all times, which was important to me as I do gaming in a dark room. But I found it on the product listing page here after looking again: hold Fn, tap F9 three times. Done! Sound quality is pretty much typical for a laptop, speaker not impressive, headphones/earbuds deliver better audio experience, which is to be expected. Quality of the physical build of the laptop I'd describe as 'sturdy'. No regrets, happy with my purchase!
