I am not a IT tech but I have learned quite a bit over the yrs about computers and even rebuilt several so I feel I have a good grasp of what to look for when shopping around. I have always upgraded and maintained our own until now due to Windows 11. That said as stated in other reviews this is NOT a gaming computer, however for the average user it is more than enough. I was quite surprised by the quality of such a small unknown company and this lap top has lots of great features. The screen quality is good. The keyboard had a nice feel to it and I love that it has the numbers pad. I noticed last night that the fish on the cover even illuminates which was a surprising detail even though it has nothing to do with the function. I looked at lots of different laptops and finally settled on this one for an upgrade from our 13 yr old laptops. The N100 processor is better than the N45 or even N95 that other top brands like Lenovo have. It also came with the same or more RAM than the other too brands and the 1TB drive over the 512GB drives is a no Brainer. I have found no real negative with this laptop. There are several independent reviews online and all were positive. I also found out that this is an American company and been around about 13 yrs. In the system info of the OS they also post their contact info and with a 2 yr warranty I am pleased with my purchase. I got the Space Grey and I got my wife the Rose gold. Both very nice. Lastly I experienced none of the issues in the negative reviews, although the unit will get warm when doing a lot of processes. It doesn't have a fan so that contributes to this, similar to a tablet. I've held my connection and just updated to Windows 11 H24 (it came with the H23 version and that will no longer be supported come November) and had no issues updating. Very pleased with my purchase!!

I researched machines using the Perplexity AI shopping feature "best value for money." This was one of five machines on the list. The others were known brands to me except this and another. After reading all the reviews here on amazon and the fact there was a sale price on the machine I bought it. Even without the sale price this machine is equal to the big name brands. Update Sep 19, 2025 Only thing I have to say in the battery does seem to have a short life only 3 hours and perhaps a little longer. However, this is my desktop machine and I'm almost always plugged in so it's not a problem for me. It's a little larger than my last machine (HP Spectre) and an ounce or two heavier. You wonder how this family owned business does it. Probably because they don't have to support mega infrastructure costs like the big brands. If that's the case, then this is good old fashioned ingenuity at work.

I have always purchased HP laptops. But my last one just crashed with no warning. So I decided to research other options. The price was right on this one. I read about the family run company and thought I could take a chance. This laptop will be my embroidery workhorse. I love that I had it up and running in no time. I especially appreciate that there is no bloat ware like other brands. It seems quick enough for what I need, and the rose gold is very pleasing. I had no issues connecting to WiFi or my printer. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and compatible with all my craft software! I can’t speak on durability but so far I am impressed!

Loaded and ready to go. Plugged in a mouse, turn it on, logged into my Windows and the device update window. Windows downloaded my personal settings (email, etc...) and away we go. Was a little surprised about the key board layout. The number pad is multi-functional requiring the function key press for 'Home', 'End', arrow keys, et. and the '+', '-' and 'Entry' of a typical number pad are missing. This is taking a little to get used to. All in all, its a good little portable laptop for school and the like. Keep in mind, used as a portable, it will require charging every night.

For the processor that is in it, it is really fast. Used the type C full function port to load user files and it took 17 minutes to load 47.5 GB. Worked well with my WIFI 6 router from Xfinity. It had to load the last 3 KB updates for 24H2 and an update for .Net Framework 4.5. The slowest thing I ran into was loading Microsoft 365. It appeared the server I attached to for the download was having "some issues". Rebooted and started download and it took less than 3 minutes to bring the software down. Looks great. Screen crisp. Has promised storage of 1 TB. Backlit keyboard feels good to the touch but had to slow down the touchpad a bit. Appears to be well built. Not missing any screws. Nothing rattles. [Had issues with other laptops bought online]. Great Value!

Working great so far. Purchased “Home” version. Much faster than my old PC, thin profile, light in weight, love the backlit keyboard. This was relatively easy to set up and transferring files via One Drive worked well. I’m not a gamer so settled on 16 GB of RAM. More is available if you want to pay a bit more. 1 TB SSD is plenty. Did not come with Word, which I had to purchase separately via subscription. I use this PC mainly for research and writing. It will serve me well.

EXTREMELY pleased with this laptop. I haven't edited any photos with it yet but the screen is bright and clear, the computer itself is cute. It was easy to setup, great storage. I shopped around forever and had a hard time pulling the trigger, but I'm really glad I chose Nimo!
