I am not a IT tech but I have learned quite a bit over the yrs about computers and even rebuilt several so I feel I have a good grasp of what to look for when shopping around. I have always upgraded and maintained our own until now due to Windows 11. That said as stated in other reviews this is NOT a gaming computer, however for the average user it is more than enough. I was quite surprised by the quality of such a small unknown company and this lap top has lots of great features. The screen quality is good. The keyboard had a nice feel to it and I love that it has the numbers pad. I noticed last night that the fish on the cover even illuminates which was a surprising detail even though it has nothing to do with the function. I looked at lots of different laptops and finally settled on this one for an upgrade from our 13 yr old laptops. The N100 processor is better than the N45 or even N95 that other top brands like Lenovo have. It also came with the same or more RAM than the other too brands and the 1TB drive over the 512GB drives is a no Brainer. I have found no real negative with this laptop. There are several independent reviews online and all were positive. I also found out that this is an American company and been around about 13 yrs. In the system info of the OS they also post their contact info and with a 2 yr warranty I am pleased with my purchase. I got the Space Grey and I got my wife the Rose gold. Both very nice. Lastly I experienced none of the issues in the negative reviews, although the unit will get warm when doing a lot of processes. It doesn't have a fan so that contributes to this, similar to a tablet. I've held my connection and just updated to Windows 11 H24 (it came with the H23 version and that will no longer be supported come November) and had no issues updating. Very pleased with my purchase!!

I had purchased a refurbished expensive name brand laptop that lasted about 3 hours before the solid state drive crashed and burned… Sent it back and ordered this Nimo after combing thru many reviews of new lower priced laptops and I absolutely love it, sounds stupid but I love the little clown fish that lights up on the lid when you power it up, I am an avid fisherman and saltwater aquarist so it just fits me personally. I have been using this laptop for personal use for a few months now and so far it has worked flawlessly. Boots quickly, handles multiple applications well, great battery life. This laptop just looks and feels very well made straight out of the box and in your hands. No complaints whatsoever, for the price and quality you can’t go wrong.

I use this laptop for home and online courses and couldn't be happier. It's fast and responsive out of the box without All the usual bloatware that clogs most computers. Easy to set up and connect to everything I have. I like the idea of being able to expand memory should I need to but not sure I will need to. The charge time is fast and I don't really use away from the charger so the length of time the batter stays charged has not been determined. For the price point of this laptop, it definitely exceeds my expectations. I purchased this laptop as a replacement for the one I purchased 3 months ago. The original laptop was dropped and broke the screen hinge and backlight. There are no replacement parts available for the laptop, so a new one was in order. The lack of replacement parts is the only reason I am not giving a five star review for this laptop. The screen size and image quality are on par with many other high end laptops costing 5-10 times as much, the processing power is more than adequate for what I use it for, however it is by no means a gaming laptop. It has the latest Bluetooth connection compatibility, will connect to wifi A,B,G, and N. It doesn't have a built in Ethernet port, but will recognize most USB adapters (I do have an older HDMI adapter that it doesn't recognize). It comes with 16gB of ram installed, which is sufficient for my uses, but isn't upgradable any further, that's the max it supports. Overall, it is a great student or office laptop and for under $400.00 USD, it would be hard to beat.

It seems to be a solid computer. It’s performed very well and is more than fast enough for what we use it for. Perfect computer. I don't play video games and don't do a lot of downloading, so for me, this is a computer that I can grow with. It's pretty big by my standards, and has a backlit keyboard. Its better than many name brand computers out there, except it's at a fraction of the cost!

Impressed! I’ve only had it for a few days and so far no issues. I immediately got rid of Windows in favor of Linux and the fingerprint scanner thing is incredibly finicky with Linux (haven’t gotten to figure it out yet) but that’s expected! The build quality is decent. You won’t be getting a super thin aluminum laptop but it’s definitely a great value.
