Take a sec to read... Great case but if dropped at the wrong angle, the case hinge will break. The case did exactly what it was made to do! Better that the case breaks than the phone take any damage. I use my phone for work and I am pretty hard on it. My phone has been dropped many times (used also for credit card processing where customers sign and enter email data) and each time the phone has survived without a mark or scratch. After somewhere around 20 to 30 falls the spring hinge (part that the S Pen attaches to) had the lower part of the hinge crack. This case was ordered as a identical replacement. When you consider this protects a $1000 phone, and took multiple hits before having a small failure, it is worth the price for the protection. ... show more

Needed a kickstand case that didn't require volume buttons to be surface face down (kind of a no brainer, one would think). The kickstand here is pretty decent, not level on all four sides. The real greatness here is the feel and quality of the case. I'm not sure why, but I hand it just feels super high quality and "machine like", if that make sense. The pen they sent it works as a stylus but it's just a metal rod with a silicone tip,it could never function as a pen to write on your phone with,which is disappointing since so many different companies make compatible pens you can use to write on the phone.
