This is a great concept. Well made. The only problem is that neither one of the 2 sizes fit my hitch. One is to big and the other is too small in diameter to secure correctly. Too bad. They were exactly what I was looking for.

For the bad reviews given to this product due to not fitting properly. It clearly <— states it is a universal mount. Meaning there is a chance it will not fit your vehicle. They include all the dimensions for you to measure out if it will fit. I bought this for my RAM TRX and it intact does not fit, i figured as such tho from reading the product description and plan on making it stay in place with a hitch cover that will keep it pressed against the hitch receiver with anti vibration pads to minimize noise and metal to metal wear as there’s some wiggle room. The product is solid, heavy and threading is smooth. Cannot wait to make this work for myself. ... show more

    • Sturdy for pod lights fits 2’’ receiver

This is plenty sturdy to mount pod lights great for the money. I bought this and unfortunately could not mount it to my vehicle because i dint have enough of my receiver sticking out from the where the tow chains would hook up. I was hoping this would have saved me from having to fabricate and weld bracts to mount my lights. If it was steel i still would have welded it to receiver but it is made of aluminum. I could have still made them work by cutting and relocating the tow cain brackets but by the time i do that it will be easier to just fabricate and weld brackets to my hitch for the lights. Even though this didn’t work out for my application it is still wort trying to see if it fits your vehicle. Also it would have fit my 2’’ receiver perfectly without any wiggle or movement. ... show more
