As others have mentioned these sit at a different angle than OEM but at 1/3 the cost its a sacrifice im ok with. I have mine currently tilted as far as they can looking up and i still cant see the upper marker lights on my trailer (8.5ft tall) im just going to drill out the door holes maybe 1/8-1/4 inch so I can rotate them ever so slightly upwards. they are also tilted ALL the way in to even be able to see behind my truck, but its adequate. ive had no vibration issues, one side i used BOTH foam gaskets and drivers side i used only the new one to see if there was any difference i would also recommend using your OEM nuts as they have a much bigger built in washer to spread the weight better. I have another 1100 mile trip in 3 weeks, ill update my post after that. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Mirrors are great and easy to install Although the passenger mirror shakes like a motha going down the interstate or against strong wind. 2012 Silverado LTZ Plus Edition Cons: Upper mirrors vibrate like crazy and can't tell any detail while driving. Wiring harness is not long enough to follow factory holding spots. Reverse/Aux light wiring is way too short and barely goes through hole. Update: The top mirror anti vibration/support is made of plastic that doesn't even hold against the guards. The mirrors caps are different from other suppliers that offer paintable caps. The wiring is different from other suppliers. The mounting is not aluminum, just plastic. The mirrors like to slide out enough to show a gap on the arms. The lower spot mirror glass is not removable, have to drill center to remove, just to pull covers for painting. The mirrors motor doesn't like the colder weather. When unlocking truck with a key fob, the mirrors top's keep moving the upper mirrors and clicking. Won't stop until you open the doors and put the key in the ignition. Pros: They are CHEAP tow mirrors for 07-13 Silverado. Look good on the 2012 Silverado. Would I purchase again for my next truck. Heck NO! Spend the money on a good set of mirrors. ... show more

A little bit of work getting these mirrors installed but well worth it. Wiring is pretty simple except there is 1 wire (blue) that I cannot figure out. I was hoping it went to my running lights so that the outside light would stay on with the running lights but it’s not. So I guess I gotta manually run a separate wire and tap into the board inside the mirror for it to work. Other than that I love em and they work great. P.S. you can wire the clearance lights to whatever you prefer. Most ppl wire them to the reverse lights but I wired them to my dome lights so it comes on when I hit the unlock on my key fob. -UPDATE- So after a lot of searching, I found out that the blue wire is in fact for the running light or parking light. You just have to run a jumper wire from the gray wire (clearance light ground) to the black and white wire (turn signal ground) on both mirrors then just run the BLUE wire to either your DRL or parking light! They fit fine and don't shake at highway speed. But I bought them because I wanted the Godd@mn lights to work. The wiring harness supplied doesn't plug in anywhere and there are absolutely NO intelligible wiring diagrams or instructions. Now I have to remove them, return them, and buy a different brand that actually includes everything needed to make the Godd@mn lights work. That is a pain in my @$$ that I didn't need. ... show more
