These were a breeze to install once I figured out how the door panel came apart. These are a significant upgrade from my old, worn out standard mirrors, and look, function, and fit like OEM tow mirrors. The mirror glass is very clear with no warps in it, and the motors move the glass around very smoothly. I really like how much more I can see from these, and the turn signals are super visible, which should help me make sure I don't turn into anybody in my long truck. The mirrors bounce very little while driving, even in wind. I didn't have heated mirrors before and I'm not sure I have the button to turn them on. But I live in SoCal and defrosting mirrors has never before crossed my mind. I had one small issue during the install. The driver's side wire was much shorter than the passenger side. I wasn't able to follow the route of the original wiring, I had to go directly across the door and put a hole in the insulation to get it through. I am not worried about it, but oddly the passenger side was about 2 inches longer than it had to be. Overall, super happy with these mirrors. ... show more

I got these mirrors in and they feel and look really nice, The install was painless, took much longer to get the door panels off than to install the mirrors. Turn signals and adjustment features work fine, haven't tested the heat yet. One thing about them is the passenger mirror is very shaky riding down the road. Drivers side is rock solid. I do notice that the pivot mounting points are sloppy on the passenger side. Drivers side is tight. I am curious if these can be adjusted to be tighter. I can tell that shaky mirror is going to drive me insane. ... show more

    • Mounts at a slight angle, had a short circuit.

I really wanted to like these. They were easy to install, more so if you've removed door panels a time or two. When mounted they sit at a slight angle, so as to make something of a "V". Some might not care about this but it really bugged me. Additionally, the passenger mirror signal light would cycle on and off constantly, rapidly and dimly, uncommanded. I suspect there is an errant wire in one of the connectors. I sent these back and will look for another, though every one of these on Amazon look more or less the same to me, as if they all come from one factory in China and just have different labels slapped on them. ... show more

I own a 2009 GMC Sierra 1500 and these fit just like originals. They are very stable on the door itself. I did have issues taking off the panels inside the door and broke a couple of clips. The hardest screw to get right was under the door handle rest. There are 2 screws there and one of the female clips will not stay centered so you have to use tape to keep it lined up with the hole for the screw, once you put the panel back on. My original mirrors have a control to fold in but these don't which I don't mind. I very rarely folded my mirrors in anyway. The blinker signal works just like my old ones and they have so much better view. I really like them. Give yourself some time and just go slow and you can do it to. ... show more

Configuration: 2003-2007
The media could not be loaded. there are a couple of things to know about these mirrors. first, the turn signal is not red its orange. second, the leds are a smaller diameter than the original red. third my driver side detent where you can fold it in, them out to the stop detent is out of alignment, the mirror stops at almost 80 degrees from side of truck where the normal detent stops the mirror at about 60 degrees. you can pull the mirror out of the detent so you can adjust mirror to see behind you but worried that after a time without it being solidly in the detent it will vibrate. sending first set back for a replacement, will update after i get second set. Update: Second set has the same problem as the first, the driver side mirror detent is too far forward. when my wife is in the truck she cant see behind her all she can see is the far lane of traffic. these will have to be returned as well I wish i knew the manufacturer of these as there are several sellers of these mirrors and would like to make sure i use a different manufacturer. ... show more
