  • A Great Value
First off, I have a 2008 Ford F350 four door long bed. I didn't want to make the truck any longer by adding a brush bar to attach lights. As it is, the 2008 has a rectangular opening in the front bumper that happens accept a 20" LED light bar nicely. The reviews on this light bar seemed pretty good and knowing I could return it, I took a chance. The light arrived a day before promised. The packaging was adequate and all of the mounting hardware was included. The light bar had a sturdy feel to it and no loose items that rattled around inside. The first thing I did was hook up the light to a 12 volt battery to insure all the LED's lit up, which they did. Right away I found that this was a bright light. Paying attention to other reviewers, I shot some silicone into and around the "wire harness". There is no bracket manufactured for the slot in the 2008 Ford, so after a bit of figuring, my buddy suggested that I use "80/20" aluminum to mount the light. I took off the bumper to allow for space to work and after a little measuring, drilling four holes, some nuts and bolts, the light was mounted. Wiring was a breeze by utilizing the Ford's preinstalled upfitter switches, relay and wiring. I spent a great deal of time researching different lights from all the manufactures. Many of these lights, from brand names like Rigid, Bulldog and KC, cost hundreds of dollars (one of the Rigid 20" lights here on Amazon sells for over $671). I fully understand the mind frame of buying the best. I usually take that approach as well but I really have a hard time in justifying that much money for something that I won't be using all the time. Here's the deal: This light is bright. The entire road is lit up in a bright white light including both shoulders of the road as well as any trees overhanging. The light is thrown down the road quite a bit - further than one can out-drive in usual driving. If I were travelling at 100 MPH maybe I'd reconsider. Through my research, I have found that there is defiantly a few LED light bars out there that are brighter. After installing this "knockoff", however, there is plenty of light output and in no way is there $400+ less of light. I get the fact that knockoff items are not built to the strict standards of the name brands, but if companies like Rigid don't start to lower their price, many people will be justified buying knockoffs. I hope this review helps you. ... show more

  • What a suprise!
First led light bar purchase and I must say it is quite the bright light for its size! The adjusting mounts are perfect for applications such as mine where i used existing holes in my bull bar on the front of my Dodge Ram. The light feels solid and performs just as good as any name brand. For the price you can't go wrong. I like it so much I'm purchasing another! Wiring kits are sold seperately but the hook up is a breeze. Ive only had it for about 2 weeks but use it a lot (2nd shift so a lot of backroad night driving). Makes for a good high beam and really brings the daylight with you! Update: Over a year of regular use and it’s still goin strong! I siliconed the perimeter of the plexiglass and have ZERO issues of condensation. All LEDs still work. People who negatively review this bar due to leaking you HAVE to slilocone the plexiglass otherwise you will get water inside eventually. It’s a great price for what you get, and so what if it lasts a few years and quits, just buy another! ... show more

If you're looking to make a sweet looking and well functioning vehicle on a budget that can do things at night, this is the light bar for you. I installed this in under an hour and when I hit that rocker switch to turn it on, I went blind from inside my cab (As I was parked in a garage facing a white wall). This light for being only 20" puts out the same amount of light as my buddy's 55" bar and cost under $30. This is a great deal and I am trying to find where I can mount another one. The light from this bar, when angled correctly, easily extends out to 200 yards and out to 100 yards, it still is as bright as day light. I have run this for hours (longest period being 4 hours continuous) and not one light has gone out. Also, I would say it is 100% water proof. I have power washed my truck, sent it through puddles that have soaked the entire truck, and driven in temperatures down to -30 degrees in a snowstorm. This bar looks great and works great. Would highly suggest getting. ... show more

  • Looks really nice but poor alignment.
Size: For 2007-2013 Silverado Color: Black Housing + Amber Reflector
These headlights look awesome and seem to be very well sealed, but they have very poor alignment for the beams, both high and low, which is the most important part. My stock headlights will align perfectly so I know it's not an issue of bent mounts or something of that nature. I will confess the issue is challenging for this model of truck because there is only an up/down adjustment of both high&low beams simultaneously and adjustment of the entire headlight assembly for left/right for both beams. The side to side adjustment is by loosening mounting bolts and sliding them on the slots. The right headlight, adjusted all the way left has the low beam just passed dead straight to the right, which places the majority of the lowbeam in the righthand ditch. The highest for the right side hits just left of straight on (exactly where you would want it) The left headlight, adjusted all the way left has the lowbeam almost dead center of the path of travel at full distance, meaning you are dark on left side of the road and when combined with the right lowbeam makes it look like your right headlight works really well (illuminating the ditch) but the left does not. The left highball sits just off the left hand of dead straight, illuminating the lane to the left. So in effect, with both headlights adjusted all the way left as possible (forcing a terribly large fender gap on the right side and no fender gap on the left), my low beams point sharp right and the highbeams point slight left. I am attempting to contact nilight to see if they have a solution for this issue, so this review is subject to change upon their response. ... show more
