I look high & low for Nylon Flag Spade Female Insulated Quick Disconnects. For you DYI'ers out there, you need a special crimp tool or modify one. I have seen a lot of complaints about them. Mainly crimping them. They ARE NOT crimped like most others do. That little ring where the wire enters IS not the crimp point as most complain about. I have a Klien tools crimper and it will not work with these. There is no part of it that extends out the barrel input sleeve (at least not the red and blue ones). So the only way to crimp it is to crush the part that runs along the end of the terminal. So be aware that you need a specialized crimping tool specifically that handles the flag type terminals or you have to find a way to crimp the end using something else. ... show more

This particular car that I have is a Porsche 914 and the starter is in the back with the transmission poking through the engine 10, so I needed the wire to lay flat along the starter. Male and Female "Fast-on" or "Quick Connect" type connectors for use in industries where continuous continuity, longevity and reliability are essential shall be evaluated to the criteria defined in the International Electrotechnical Commission, (IEC) and Underwriters Laboratories, (UL) standards. Among other criteria, the IEC 61210 and the UL 310 standards covering these contact terminals have requirements for; plating thickness, material substrate, dimensions, insertion and withdraw forces. As designed and manufactured the Nilight Flag terminals would not meet all of the IEC and UL standards criteria. The Nilight terminals are suitable for hobby applications however, I could not recommend them for use where longevity under continuous current flow is demanded. ... show more
