Literally obsessed with this camera!! I upgraded from the Nikon D600. A slight learning curve going from dslr to mirrorless. But not as much as I expected, it’s really more so learning where the different buttons, etc. are compared to the functionality of the other one. The computerized viewfinder was different to get use to also, compared to the real time dslr. But it doesn’t really matter, it doesn’t affect the quality of the image. Love love love love love.     • Excellent Buy, but Watch out for Compatibility Issues with Some Tamron DSLR Lenses when using FTZ
For the most part, I'm very happy with my Nikon Z8, but it turns out that - even with the FTZ adapter attached - the Z8 won't work with the Tamron 150-600mm F/5-6.3 Di VC USD G2 telephoto zoom. My Z8 keeps on throwing errors and turning off all viewfinders whenever I try to attach it to my favourite Tamron birding lens. ... show more

The Z8 is a pro grade Nikon camera. Coming off using a DSLR will require some study. I recommend using one of the many guide books out there. Amazon is a rated Nikon dealer and these cameras safely ship from Adorama.

Prompt shipping, the only thing I don’t like is the manual barely covers th functionality of the camera. There are manuals available for$25, if you are paying $4200 for the camera it should be included.

    • Amazing Camera
This is most capable and versatile camera that I've ever owned. The mount adapter works very well with Nikon lenses that aren't Z series. I don't have a Z series lens yet to make a comparison, but the adapter is working very well with the other lenses thus far.
