Spectacular! Was a little worried with reviews of the face tracking from when it was originally released, but with the update(mine was delivered with the 2.0 firmware), is pretty darn flawless! I updated to the recent 2.1 update and haven't noticed any issues. Coming from D750, this thing is awesome. I shoot sports mainly and the speed of this has been really good. Near twice as fast with my limited use since purchasing. Have used it on a portrait shoot for its big debut and it was perfect in every way. Easy learning curve from coming over from the D750. Match this up with good glass and you'll be extremely happy. Not knocking the D750-still a fantastic DSLR and will be by my side as my backup for years to come(shooting strong with well over 100,000 shutter count). ... show more

I'm still fairly new at photography. Although, I've been working with pro photogs as part of my profession for years. Thankfully, some of their valuable experience and knowledge has rubbed off. My first 'real' camera was the Nikon D5300. From there, I moved to a Nikon D7200. Now, I have this amazing camera. Take this in the context of it being my first full-frame camera AND I'm not a full-time pro, but I can't find any faults with the Z6.     • Great DSLR
The Z6 replaced my D4. I always wished Nikon had fixed the 3d Tracking on the D4...well, with the Z6 eye and face recognition is just incredibly fast. Remember, Nikon also updated the firmware on the Z6 as well. Glad I bought it.

    • Best camera for Nikon people.
If you are willing to put in the money, you will not be disappointed. This camera is just amazing! I’ve also put it through fairly extreme conditions like snow and rain, no issues at all. I personally also love all of the new Z mount lenses that are coming out. This camera is the way of the future.

    • better for video! I like it, I don’t love it. But I am old, kind of!
I swore I would never get into the mirrorless thing, it is much better for video! I like it, I don’t love it. But I am old, kind of! After a few months of using this camera, I feel the same way. Using this in low light long exposure photography is not fun. I prefer a mirror.

I didn't want to wait a couple weeks to order this directly from Nikon, so I was a little nervous of how the camera would come. BUT, it came in excellent condition, and was packaged very carefully to ensure no damage occurred in transit. Only problem.... it told me it wouldn't deliver for 4 days, so I had the memory cards/batteries just come on the same day.... well, the camera showed up the NEXT day, so I had a camera body just sitting around while I waited for the other stuff.. haha No an actual issue. ... show more

I bought the package in the US, guess what, box does not include a card. I move abroad, and open the box I cannot find a card inside, fine, I go to buy one, they're nowhere to be found because of cost and exclusivity. I go to a Nikon store abroad and they tell me they include a card in teh Z6 package and not in the US. OK moral of the story, we get treated like crap, I have a camera I cannot use for 2 months pending the card purchase. Nikon, I will never buy another product from you. I switched from Canon but will be going back. ... show more

I love this camera! I upgraded from a Nikon D610 and the transition was super quick and easy. The camera is light weight so I am more willing to carry it around. The low light capabilities are so good! All my old lens work fine with the adapter. Beware that the memory cards are way more expensive than the SD cards from the D610, but I would say they are a better investment. I shoot mostly headshots and boudoir, I would recommend this camera to any portrait photographer. ... show more
