  • Fantastic travel camera!
Excellent camera. I've been a Nikon user for years, and decided to go mirrorless. The Z50 with the kit lens (16—50) was within my budget. But it's definitely not a "budget" camera. Every setting and feature I knew from my DSLRs was here, along with a few more. The Z50 is light, small and a great travel camera. I'm tall with large hands, and the camera felt great to grip. Picture quality is excellent, auto focus is fast, and eye detection works great. I'll recommend this camera to new or experienced photographers. It's a full-featured crop sensor camera at a good price. And you'd never know it was refurbished. ... show more

  • Amazing camera
The camera is a great travel camera, it is so small I hold it without a hassle because it’s not heavy and I can put it in my fanny pack. I uploaded some raw and edited photos I took from the camera. As u can see photos are great quality and the video is ok quality with no action mode to take away the shakiness but a tripod can help with that. I like the lens but I also like zoom in pics which I can’t really get from here. Also audio captures more wind but I don’t need it in my preference. I love this camera as it is my new favorite traveling camera! ... show more

  • Fantastic camera for a bargain price
After 8+ years using several different Nikon APS-C DSLR's, I had absolutely no intention to switch to a mirrorless system. This model came by absolute chance to my hands, and I decided to give it a try. I decided to allow this camera 2 days to convince me to leave behind my beloved D7100 (with which I have travelled the world). It took just under 30 minutes of usage to make me change my mind. The Z50 is a brilliant product: super lightweight, fast autofocus, easy to access menus, super user friendly. Cons: lower battery life (compared to APSC DSLR's), and if you plan to have spare batteries, they are not as cheap as the classic EN-EL15: they cost up to 4x more. It can be solved though with a power bank: it allows in-camera charging via USB. Don't wait and get yours! ... show more

  • Best APSC size sensor camera I ever used. I highly recommend the Nikon Z50
The photo quality is gorgeous, best in any camera I have used, and I have used more than a few over the years. Focus, exposure and color are spot on. Video quality is also superb, and image stabilization is so smooth. Ergonomics are typical Nikon. In other words, the camera is a joy to use, touch screen is good, buttons and menu system are intuitive and easy to navigate. Going full frame is the only way to have a better camera. ... show more

  • Refurbished = Brand New !!!
This little baby arrived clean as a whistle and can do SO MUCH MORE than words could say. Do yourself a favor and shoot manual - try some time lapse and low light photography - the low light capabilities of the Z50 open up a world of possibilities.

  • Great camera until the lens became a problem.
Once the camera gave me the message 'Lens Initialization Failed', the darn thing became a problem. I could not take photos as intended. Only the P M A and S setting worked, and only with the DLSR to Z adapter I bought. I returned it on January 30. I am still waiting for my refund. I may or may not base a new one from this outfit. I will weigh my options when my refund comes. ... show more
