  • Nikon Z7II
Set: Body
What’s not to like. The camera is a dream to use. I really like the EVF where you can compose and check the histogram in the finder. Resolution is fantastic. I was thinking of trading my D850 but have decided to retain it as that camera is another product I just can’t depart. Highly recommend the Z7II to anyone contemplating a mirrorless camera. ... show more

  • An excellent mirrorless camera - even as refurbished
Set: Body
I bought the original Nikon Z6 as soon as it was available. I am a long time Nikon user and became a big fan of their mirrorless cameras. My first Nikon was a black F4 35mm film camera. Over the years I collected quite a few of their lenses and was glad the new Z series could use them. I decided to get the Z7ii just to get the higher pixel count. I am glad I did. It’s not much of a change from the Z6 in many respects, but there are subtle differences just beyond slightly higher resolution. These are well documented on Nikon’s web site, so I won’t list them here. I also wanted to stay within a certain budget as an amateur photographer. If I made my living from photography, I would probably have gone for Nikon’s flagship mirrorless to make the most of my investment in Nikon glass. But I purchased a refurbished Z7ii to stay within budget. The camera I received was in nearly new condition and I am quite happy with it. ... show more

  • Tough as nails and very sharp pictures
Set: w/ NIKKOR Z 24-70mm f/4 S
I want to start by saying that the reviews about the autofocus being a bit of a pain are true. With that said, I very rarely use autofocus with the type of photography I do, so it doesn't lose any point for me. What I can absolutely praise about this camera though is how tough it is. It recently snowed a LOT in Florida, and little ol' me wanted to go walking and take pics of all the beautiful snow covered areas of my town. I was not prepared for the slip and fall that I would take, but my camera was. It hit the asphalt HARD and worried to heck out of me, but after I got up and put my shoulder back into socket, I picked up my camera and not even a scratch was on the body or lens. so 10/10 for sturdiness. And it still functioned like normal and I got several more pics. The pics from this camera and the included 24-70mm lens are super crisp and definitely worth the price imo. Also, I have managed to get some really nice shots of the orion nebula from it so far. Plus, it has a built in intervalometer as well as auto bracketing for hdr photos. I will say to make sure you request the right region plug for your charger though because I was given a European plug at first and had to request an American one, though kudos to the seller, because they answered back within 24 hours and sent me a new plug in the mail. ... show more

  • Great camera
Set: Body
I love the range of options for how much control I have over the exposures. The dual data card slots have proven very useful. Great size and easy to handle.

  • a great camera
Set: Body
Amazingly clear, sharp photos even in low light scenarios. Not so great with people or animals moving around too quickly. I would absolutely recommend this for beginner or advanced photographers.
