I have wanted a professional camera for so long and I am so glad I bought this one. It looks brand new. The 18-55mm lens is great for landscapes or human photography. I ended up buying the 70-300mm refurbished lens for wildlife and ive posted some photos that i have taken with this camera in the 2 weeks that I've had it. Im totally new to photography so all of these are taken in auto mode with auto focus. I havent taken any video yet so i can't comment on that but the photo quality is astounding. A little post edit to correct saturation sometimes and I feel like i have professional quality photos. I love it so much. I can also transfer all photos i take directly to my phone for editing/ uploading instantly so i have them on my social media before i even get back home sometimes. I was really worried i wouldn't like this camera but now I'm obsessed with it. ... show more

Bought it about a year ago and it hasn't died on me yet. Great picture, great battery life, and it came with absolutely no signs of wear. I think the D5600 is the perfect camera for someone who is in that spot somewhere between "casual user" and "enthusiast". The "I'm not super into cameras/photography but I do understand most aspects of it and care about performance" crowd. A lot depends on the lenses when it comes to DSLRs but as far as the body, this has more than enough features and has fantastic performance. Pictures (with the included lens) have been great and if you record video, especially at the highest settings, it will come out buttery smooth. The build itself is top-notch, very sturdy, and although I didn't abuse it or take it through the Amazon, I have found no faults. The spec sheet will tell you most of what you need to know and at the refurb price, I think this is a great deal. ... show more

    • Maybe seller should battery test before shipping.
The camera I received looks brand new. However it came with an off brand battery. The camera would not originally power on I contacted the seller and they offered to replace the camera but I never received instructions back for replacement. I did some research and found that this model camera doesnโ€™t work with just any off brand batteries so I did a little research and ordered a different battery for it and it works great! Still havenโ€™t heard back from the seller but Iโ€™m glad I figured it out and didnโ€™t have to send the camera back and Iโ€™m able to start putting it to use! ... show more

I am new to the professional camera but I have always wanted one have read up on them watched vides tons and tons.....and I know there is a newer version of this camera out there. But to start I wanted this one I love this camera so much. So much fun to learn how it works I love how it takes photos. The camera came new with everything that I needed even its own strap which is what I liked very much and its own battery and battery charger as well it is awesome! I loved the camera. Delivery was on time. Camera works perfect and takes excellent pictures for being refurbished. Camera looks brand new (no signs of wear and tear). Connection to send pictures directly to my phone was a great feature. Only thing to point out to those buying the camera is that it does not seem to accept generic brand batteries.     • the camera was broken
take two pictures the shutter would freeze up and not work. it would not take 2 pictures then freeze up with the shutter button on error message. was easy to return the item. will not be buying refurbished item again.

This is a perfect camera for all. Itโ€™s easy to use and learn system is perfect. The lens that it comes with are good for people who are just getting started and the camera can take a bit of beating. I have used this solidly for a year and itโ€™s just a go to.
