    • Easy to use, lots of functionality, a fantastic option for night video amateurs
For the longest time I had wanted to get some type of night vision goggles or camera that was more than just your standard green/white and black that you get on older devices. Given the chance to try out this set of Pozifu 4K night vision binoculars with both photo and video models, it seemed like a great option. Overall, I think this is a great starter option if you're just getting into night vision filming, photography, and basic wildlife watching. The build quality is really solid; these "binoculars" have some good solid weight, and do not feel like something designed simply for kids. As a hobbyist photographer, I especially love that it features a standard-sized tripod screw mount that works perfectly with either of my tripods. The visual quality is great, though the range is a bit limited. This isn't army-level tech allowing you to see things from a mile away. But for filming things from a few dozen feet away, you will be very happy with how crisp and clear the quality is. The video and photographic quality are really top-notch for a lower-costing recording product like this. While this does allow you to get "full color" videos and photos, the darker the environment, the lower the quality at full color. Full color in pitch black is never going to be as good as simply lighting your subject, and that's simply the nature of reality. That said, if you switch to black-and-white mode, you will get much better contrast on your subjects. As such, you're still getting at the very least a fantastic infrared solution for photos and videos. I'd say the biggest detractor from the video/photo side is that zooming is 100% digital. So, depending on what you're trying to film and whether you have a higher end video or photo editing suite (I use Final Cut Pro and Photoshop), if you are looking for more professional images, I'd recommend using the digital zoom on the binoculars as little as possible and instead use the scaling feature on your editing suite instead to increase the size on-screen. Aside from that, the only major improvement I think the manufacture could consider in the future is the button layout. They would do well to study how high-end photo and video camera manufacturers position their buttons in a way that is intuitive and more standardized. While the buttons are backlit allowing you to see them (though a bit too bright in my opinion), the problem is that you have to either look at them all the time or memorize what button is which. It'd be better to have them grouped similar to your standard video camera layout with the zoom in/out buttons behind the record button, while the light mode buttons are together in one spot, and the power and menu buttons are in a completely separate spot. That would be a much more intuitive design. In terms of what you get in the package, the case is form-fitting and protects the binoculars very well. You get an 64 GB SD card with the package, though I have the recommended max 128 GB SD card which is a better option if you intend on taking lots of 4K video. Overall, if you are a hobbyist or amateur wildlife or nature photographer/videographer (like me) and want something to allow you to shoot pictures and video at night, this is a great starter option at a really affordable intro price. If you are looking for something at a professional-level, this will not come close to competing with your average $1,000+ professional camera (for which there are plenty to choose from). But the functionality and image quality is really good for this level of device. ... show more

Amazing night vision for (responsible) youth and adults alike! Crisp viewing, able to take pictures and video (amazing) and easy to hold, not too heavy even for youth. My son absolutely loves this and views all kinds of wildlife at night in the woods. Price is great and the night vision is sturdy, not cheap feeling at all.     • Great "starter" night vision device.
At this price point it's hard to find any thing detrimental to say about this device, just know it has limitations. I'm not sure what the magnification power of the daylight/low light color mode is but it feels like a 4x scope. It has the ability to focus, but the only zoom is digital. That having been said if you use the zoom it gets pretty grainy looking, but this is to be expected with digital zoom. I wear glasses and while I cant fit it up to my face with glasses on, I can use it just fine by holding it a bit away from my face. It's nice that they included a 64Gb SD card so this thing is ready to go out of the box. It takes great pictures and video. ... show more

    • Good intro to night vision tools
These night vision goggles work. I've never used any before so I can't compare them to other brands, but these are a good introductory set. I wanted to hunt for Bigfoot in my yard. No, just kidding. I want to see what kind of animals are in my yard. We do have foxes, rabbits, possums, and raccoons, but there might be other critters nesting in my yard and I'm curious. My husband used the goggles and took a couple of infrared photos. They look decent; so far we haven't encountered animals but we haven't had the goggles very long. It's interesting that the goggles can take both still photos and videos, and there is a standard screw thread adapter on the bottom so you can put these on a tripod stand. The placement of the buttons leaves something to be desired. They are easy to reach when you hold the goggles, but that also means it's easy to accidentally press them when you don't want to. At the front of the goggles is a switch for a light and another switch for a strobe light. The screen is big and bright but you won't be able to wear glasses and use this as it is designed to be held against the face, so you will need to hold it away from your face. It's a little awkward. I expect nearsighted people will have less issues with this than farsighted people, but be aware there is no diopter adjustment like some cameras have. The slot for the USB-C and SD card are on the bottom. It's fiddly to get the card in an out; be careful if you need to do this in the field because it can pop out and get lost easily. There's a strap and storage bag so this is easy to pack for an outing. ... show more

I recently received the 4K Night Vision Binoculars with an HD screen and 8X digital zoom, and I have to say, these goggles exceeded my expectations. Right out of the box, they feel solid and well-built. The setup was intuitive, and I was able to start using them within minutes. The infrared night vision is outstanding, even in complete darkness. I tested them during a late-night hike, and I was able to clearly spot deer and raccoons from over 100 yards away. The image was sharp and surprisingly detailed for a digital system at this price point. The 8X digital zoom is smooth and allows you to zero in on distant objects effectively, though some pixelation is noticeable at full zoom, which is to be expected. It had poor vision quality. It was prime so no problem with the return until I put in for the return, set it back then they took out $13.00 for a promo use. No mention of a usage fee until they put money back into my account. Wasn’t happy, wasn’t right and will not purchase from tho company again.
