For a fraction of the price of what it’s imitating. This mount works amazing. There is some wobble, but if you know what you’re doing you can almost eliminate it entirely. Finish could be a little smoother but still good quality all throughout.

So let’s just start with $90 vs $500 I honestly I don’t have a real g24 so don’t have anything to compare it to but this thing works great feels solid, I attached my j-31s to em and it does exactly what I need. Cons I did need to add abit of tape on the backside of the mount the attaches to the helmet cause there was some play but that’s fixed now, some screws were a bit lose but tightened em up and it’s all good.

Works great for mounting my PVS-7 to my helmet. My only issue is that the button to release the NVGs from the mount can hang up and won't release all the way. You have to press painfully hard. Hopefully it will wear in after awhile. Beyond that, it looks and feels like it was machined and assembled VERY well. Price seems a little high for a mount, but it works great and I feel way more confident with it than an inferior plastic version. Between the up/down, in/out, and tilt adjustments, you can dial it in for the right adjustment for each individual user.

The media could not be loaded. Great alternative to the original Wilcox mount, very sturdy, everything moves as it should and has a distinct click. Sits tight in my original Wilcox helmet mount, and has Wilcox branding on it. 5 stars great value for the $90 price tag over $300 wilcox

These are great if you have an old or cheap set of NVG’s to use as a loaner for friends but I wouldn’t trust my binos with them. The dovetail release latch doesn’t release easily, you really have to work for it, which is good if you never plan on removing your NVG’s quickly or on the go. Buy with caution.

If you hold a genuine Wilcox side by side with this, you’ll notice a few minor cosmetic differences, and I’m sure the materials aren’t as high quality on this replica. Having said that, it fits every mount I’ve tried it on solidly with no slop or rattle. I abused it to see if I could get it to fail too. I dropped it from 6ft onto sold flooring, hit it with a mallet, and wrenched on it with a very good amount of force. It never budged. I’m confident enough with it and a couple of secondary retention bungees that I run duals with it. If you want something that works without paying $500 this unit is a great choice.

I originally purchased two of these (one black, the other tan). Night and day experiences with each of them, which could be due to a number of factors (quality/tolerance control, testing, etc.) but I won't speculate here. First, the good. Overall build quality is solid. Sturdy mount. The black version I have is really good (five stars) and locks up to both helmet and NVG positively with minimal wiggle. In fact the black mount is even tough to disengage, which I appreciate. Now the not so good. The tan unit I received at first blush appeared every bit as solid as the black unit I got, but link up to helmet mount is tough to engage and also the locking tongue does not appear to come out as far as the black unit, with some concern of slippage under duress. The tan unit also will not engage the NVG dovetail "spade" mount no matter what I try. I even resorted to attempting to shave off the side walls inside the dovetail to create engagement, no joy. Also the NVG locking trigger itself doesn't appear to extend (by almost half) as far as the black unit I received, which may also be attributing to the failure to lock. I've included a few pictures for explanation. Overall I really like the build quality of the unit, but the tolerances on the tan unit I received just aren't there to work properly with the NVG dovetail mount or the helmet mount.

I've been using this with my PVS14 and while if you can afford a genuine Wilcox G24, this is a really good alternative if you're ballin' on a budget. The mount locks into genuine Wilcox shrouds just fine and there is almost no play in the mount when moving around. As far as mounting, the only shroud I had issues with was a knock off 3 hole pattern but I can't tell if the shroud was out of spec, or this mount's locking lug doesn't protrude far enough (probably a bit of both). Besides that, the only knock against it is that some of the adjustment points are a bit stiff and require more force to depress, but honestly it's better than them being too loose. Overall, good mount as long as you pair it with a genuine shroud and J arm/dovetail arm.
