The Swift Max is the most affordable of the three models, with a 40° FOV, 228ft range, 3hr battery, and 850nm IR only. The Swift 2 and Swift 2 Pro offer a wider 53.8° FOV, 430ft range, 5hr battery, dual 850+940nm IR, and the Pro adds 1080p recording. Is the Swift Max suitable for younger users? Yes. The Swift Max is our most accessible model, with a simple five-button interface and no complex menus. Because it uses a single screen rather than twin eyepieces like traditional binoculars, it suits a wide range of users including children. What is the range of Swift Max at night? Does it work with an infrared flashlight? Swift Max uses two 850nm infrared LEDs, and has a range of approximately 75 yards depending on conditions. This range can be boosted with a handheld IR flashlight (such as the Nightfox XB5) to around 180 yards. Can these night vision goggles be used with glasses? It depends on your prescription. Many glasses wearers use the Swift Max comfortably either with their glasses on or off - near-sighted users in particular often manage without. If unsure, we recommend trying it both ways to see what works best Does the battery need to be removed to charge? No need to remove the battery for charging - just plug the included USB-C cable straight into your Swift Max. It can also be used while in charging with any USB power bank. Just make sure the Swift is turned on before you plug in.
