These goggles do actually perform as they are advertised and provide a very clear view in near total darkness. They allow you to just observe, take pictures, or take a video. They work equally well attached to a helmet, to the head band provided, or as a hand held device. The white light is very strong and gives a clear view on your path or the area when you aren’t trying to blend into the night. From a functioning point of view, they are a solid 4 or maybe even 5 stars, however, from a ease of use, I can’t give them more than a 1 or 2. Thus the over-all 3 star rating. I don't like giving a lower rating to a product that is well made but I'm hoping the manufacturer can see this and make a change. The directions are very poor. I suspect this is due to the translation impact, but it is what it is. I read the instructions multiple times and just couldn’t figure it out. But, while playing with them and just trying different buttons, I was able to eventually get them to work as they're suppose to. Unfortunately, it will take some continued working with them before I can get comfortable with making them do it when I want it to happen. For me, the good news is they do perform and once I’ve figured them out, I expect to really enjoy using them. Honestly,I can’t recommend purchasing them until they get the instructions translated more effectively.It's one thing to have a good/decent product, but if you can't easily understand the instructions to make the product work, it's useless.

These truly are state of the art night vision goggles, not so long ago a pair of this quality would run you right around a grand and thats if you could even find them you pretty much had to know somebody that knew somebody that was willing to part with them and now here we are in 2024 and they're available to all!!!
