  • Shockingly good kit...
I'm a lego fanboy, so praising a clone is not my norm, but this kit is wonderful. Yes it is not official lego so the tolerances aren't as good as the "real thing", but this is a high-quality clone (reminds me of the older lepin kits that used to be available). The instructions are in a slightly different style than lego but are very clear and easy to follow, and the packaging of the parts is actually superior to lego's (they label each bag with the range of steps that use those pieces). The pieces they use for the strings are too thick (so i'll modify with some picture hanging wire), and the bow is pretty brittle (not sure how i'll mod that just yet), but the viola body is absolutely stable and strong, as are the scroll and neck...this was very well designed...and my viola-playing wife loves it. Well done!!! ... show more

  • Great Build for the price
Lego fans call these Flego but I’ll go outside of my love for Lego every now and then. This one was memorable for me because I played the violin in elementary school. The instructions were very easy to follow but some of the pieces were delicate. Trying, but I was determined to complete. It’s a great piece to add to my collection of builds. ... show more

  • Some parts missing.
It’s a wonderful decoration. Just with it came with all its parts or extras. On the bright side; it’s LEGO compatible

  • Great Quality
This was a fun build! We were missing one piece. But the company was responsive and quickly sent the missing piece! It is fun to display and I will be purchasing from them again!

  • No more Nifeliz for me. Will stick to the name brand.
This was my 2nd Nifeliz and very similar experience on both. Many pieces don't go together well, pieces/sections fall apart and generally a very frustrating experience. After the neck of the violin fell off for the third time I tossed it in the trash. This was after spending hours rebuilding the body because even the slightest pressure would cause pieces to "implode". It wouldn't take a ton more pieces to keep this from happening. Nifeliz skimps on design and pieces which causes the set to tend to fall apart in places that it shouldn't. I've often wondered why the name brand builds are so robust internally. After these two frustrating experiences I won't be wondering any more. It's so the models don't fall apart as they are being built. I ended up pulling it out of the trash, boxing it back up, and returning it. Amazon doesn't get to get away with selling crap like this. ... show more

  • fun project, nice shelf piece
Sitting on my shelf right now, looks nice, and the building process was smooth and enjoyable. No missing pieces and clear instructions

  • Violin but......
Poor instructions, difficult to get put together, kept falling apart. Finished off by varnishing
