  • This is so worth it!
The set came exactly as described with no missing pieces and it is wonderful to build. I am currently in the first bag stage and I did have to take it apart because I put a gear in upside down but it was really easy to take apart enough to get to the problem piece. It being mostly black isn't even an issue unlike most other sets I can see everything in the instructions book perfectly. The detail on it is insane especially for the price. Good job nifeliz I would buy from y'all again for sure ... show more

  • Great kit for the money
Great kit, over 2100 pieces, have had all of them. Instructions are clear, I’m enjoying it. Going to build the locomotive next.

  • Turbo fan engine
This build was by far one of my more enjoyable builds. It starts off with 4 parts boxes for you to store the bricks while you are building. Then it goes off and says use bag 1 #283.476 and you use only that bag. Could be 5 bags with the 1 on them. The instruction book was easy to follow and the bricks snap in nice and tight. I was a jet engine mechanic for 22 years and this brought back a lot of good memories working on J-79 turbo fan engines! ... show more

  • Amazing, fun set at a great price point
The media could not be loaded. What a fantastic set! This was so much fun to build and it's a pleasure to play with and display. I was apprehensive about buying an "alternative brick set" just because of how good the well-known giant in the market is, but I was pleasantly surprised. Especially given the cost. I would expect a set of this size and complexity to cost more, so you definitely get your money's worth. The build quality was top notch. The pieces feel sturdy and high quality, and they fit together perfectly. I did find one malformed brick that seemed half-melted, and there was no spare for it. I was also missing several key pieces. More than I can chalk up to accidentally misplacing. This was one of the only gripes I had with this set. There were very few spares, and had I not had buckets and buckets of spare bricks to find replacements, I would have been stuck. 9.5/10 on quality, but 7/10 overall on the bricks. Overall, the instructions (which is where these alternative brick brands can sometimes fall short) where pretty easy to follow. I'd say 9/10 on readability. There were a few places where I really struggled to figure out where I was supposed to be placing a piece, and I've been building these kind of sets for 30+ years. I think there's a little room for improvement on highlighting placement of pieces. The biggest gripe I have about the instructions and assembly is the bag numbering. Once you get it, it's easy enough to follow, but I don't understand why they didn't just number the bags sequentially, or by step number, instead of the weird hybrid system they have. For those looking to buy the set who don't know what I mean, the bags are numbered 1 through 6, but there are far more than 6 bags. So each bag also has the step numbers it pertains to. So you might have a bag labeled "2" with the numbers 168-203 on it. That means that you'll use it for steps 168 through 203. Sometimes you'll have two bags that correspond with those steps. But in that case, why number the bags 1-6? They don't really seem to line up with any major divisions of assembly. It's just a weird choice, to my mind. Overall, a really fun and really cool set. I want to give it 5 stars but the missing and malformed pieces take away from that. I'd give it 4.5 if I could. I wouldn't let that dissuade you from buying this set, specially if you have other spare bricks laying around that you can search for replacements. (I have contacted the company about this but haven't heard back yet. It's only been a few days, though, and it's the holidays. I'll update if and when I hear back from them). ... show more

  • Missing pieces sent and it's completed
Was missing pieces and couldn't complete the build. I emailed nifeliz and they were courteous and got the pieces in 2+ weeks (check the junk mail). It's a great design and the gears and looks amazing. Some little build problems are some pieces fit too tight and the tail end is extremely delicate where pieces don't fall into place well and the end doesn't curve into a perfect circle. Also the non technic pieces are brittle but they fit. But in the end I think it's the best design that could be done for a turbine engine. I'd give it a 4.5 but since I can't here's five stars. ... show more

  • Excellent set
No missing pieces, all pieces fit together snugly, smooth and easy rotation of the turbine once it was finished. 1 minor problem, I thought I was missing a piece at first but I found it in a different piece bag. Search other bags first if something similar happens to you. All together I highly recommend this one, especially for the price. I can't wait to get their other engine sets. ... show more

  • Missing parts.
Not a bad kit to build. But it had several missing parts.
