Great set for display. Locomotive and tinder are ready for use in your brand-name-block setup. This set does not include any motorization, nor any way to add it in. The rolling stock included does not have swivels for its trucks; it WILL derail if it takes a curve. It also only includes enough track for itself to sit on. One of the curved track pieces I got was warped out of the box, but was fixed with a hairdryer and some patience. Other than that, this is absolutely awesome. No missing pieces in the one i recieved. Four printed tiles with crisp, clean gold printing. Beautiful teal color with no color match issues. Instructions are also clear and easy to follow. ... show more

    • Made to be motorized. Practically run ready.
Fun little loki to build. Quasi copy of the lone ranger set. Has a gear train and room for a motor and reciever. And the tender fits a AAA battery box perfectly. The flat car does not articulate unless you rebuild it. It has no swivels. Instead of installing a motor in the boiler. I made the loki freewheel as smooth as I could, and put a set of motorized trucks under the tender. Scoots around great. ... show more

My son likes this set but pieces are missing. I will order a second time to get the missing pieces, then return one set.

    • mostly good, but bad couplers
I got this to add to my other nifeliz train, but the couplers don't match. This uses magnetic couplers with braces, the other uses technic pins which is much better. This one's car is also too long for standard Lego track curves, so i had to modify it to only use one bogie. You also need to remove the bottom plate of the coal car to go over switches. the actual build is good, and it looks good as a model, but expect to get other parts to make it work in your layout. ... show more
