This is a great addition to my Christmas decoration. I enjoyed building this set. Although I came across some issues like missing pages, which was rectified quickly by customer support, the final result was beautiful and the price was affordable. It was missing a part or 2 but i was able to use my leftover from other sets so its ok. Thwy can do better with the color on the manual. The blocks are great quality and lego compatible. I had to break apart and start over on some of the parts but I realized that I should have been building in the daylight lol. My eyes needed natural sunlight to get the parts right. Overall a MUST buy.

This build is for ages 16+ and has 1,022 pieces. This is a Countdown to Christmas. When it is Christmas morning, you can turn the large green circle to say “Merry Christmas” from “Christmas Countdown”. I am 46 years old and this took me about 8 hours total to complete. There are 17 bags with 1, 2, or 3 on it. There are additional numbers printed on each bag. The instructions do a good job of explaining how to identify the bags you will need. The instruction book is very well made. Very little confusion. My only complaint is that the dark blue, red, and maroon pieces are a little too dark in the booklet. Be sure to build this in a very well lite room or use a bright flashlight like I did. This set offers two bonus boxes you easily build to pour your pieces into. Great for sorting while building. The pieces are good quality and compatible with other major brands. I was very impressed with this set. Every single piece was used and no piece was missing! If you have pieces leftover, go back into your book to find your mistakes. I had 4 pieces leftover and then I found where they were supposed to go. The pieces are slightly difficult to snap together. Both of my thumbs are a little sore, but I also worked on this for 8 hours! The finished product looks amazing! There is lots of details and the shiney gold pieces really stand out! The sleigh sits on the base, it is not connected, so you can remove it if you want to. My favorite fun feature is the pink and purple present. It is built to look like the lid is in the middle of flying off as Santa takes off. The numbers spin well for the countdown and will stay in place when you change the number. I would not recommend this set to very young children. I would say maybe 12+. It would be a great project to do leading up to Christmas. 17 days before Christmas and you open one bag each day and build! I highly recommend.

We put this away for the season before getting a good photo, but they look just like the major brand, and go together just as well. Directions weren't quite as specific, often having misleading diagrams and confusing scale or even missing steps. That said, its easy to figure it out, and my 12 year old got it put together on xmas day in about 90 min. Dinging 1 star for the directions. The result was just like the photo, and its functional (date turns) so you can count down to xmas. Great idea and execution, not the best directions that are just a little vague.

I usually go into lengthy pros and cons of the brick sets I build but at this point with this set, which is almost through the third of the 3 bag numbers, I know everything I need to share about this set. And it’s this: just avoid this set. Why? The pieces are a thumb busting nightmare. They got other so tightly they might as well be glued. The instructions while laid out well enough are so dark as to be unintelligible without a flashlight. I kid you not, I literally had to pull out a flashlight to decipher some of the steps. Lastly the order of operations is just mind-numbingly bad. Why certain steps come before others only serves to make the whole tougher and more unstable mid step. Just really bad. Couple of minor redeeming features is that if you stick with the mess of a set, the end result is nice looking and , well , really solid. And though there are 3 bagged sections each section is subdivided again so be mindful not to rip open all bags labeled 1 at the start. So, couple of small redeeming features but all in all, just avoid this set. Really wondering if all the 5 star reviews actually built this.

I wound up liking this set a lot. It was fun and interesting to build the whole time. I wish the pieces were organized better, but that's always a problem with sets like these. This one at least came with two small foldable boxes which I thought was a nice touch, although given the number of pieces in this set, a few more of said boxes would have been GREATLY appreciated. It's two more of these boxes than I've ever gotten in any other set, so I can't complain too much. The countdown is a cool touch, it's nice changing the date when I come down each day.

I own Nifeliz car kits, they’re amazing. Check their storefront out and you’ll see what I mean. So brand recognition was a big factor in why I picked this kit up. Surely I’m glad i did. The dimensional sculpting of the sleigh alone is worth it, if that were the entire kit I’d be satisfied. The countdown and the background are an equally impressive bonus but for me it’s all about the sleigh. Pieces are standard size, and whoever is doing their molding is doing a good job. High marks for instruction layout and print clarity, and I love when mfgs spend a bit more to give a larger book when they could have easily cheated out and condensed everything. Coloring on the blue and some of the red pieces can blur, or at least it seems that way to me, but it’s nothing a bright light can’t help. Bag numbering deploys am interesting scheme, basically it just further breaks down the typical bag 1, 2, 3, etc into a step range. So either pay close attention to the notations or do a dump & sort — works either way.
