I bought it for privacy but mostly works during the day, if the light is in at night people can still see you through glass. I also got it to block out the heat and uv rays for the hot days.

If you follow the instructions, and are a little careful, you can easily get good results with this product. The key, as indicated in the instructions, is to get both the window and the film wet, it then is simple to move the sheet of film around on the window to position it perfectly. Then you use the scraper to squeegee the water and bubbles out toward the edges. I got this one because the width was just right for my kitchen window. Unfortunately, I guessed the the height and came up about six inches short. Always better to have more then you need, but it worked fine for me because we have blinds up that are always about a third down, so the space is hidden at the top.

I received a damaged product. This one way tint is a great idea. It DOES block out people from seeing in. And it makes my dog happy to be able to see out. BUT my product arrived damaged. Pros: Received a razor blade with the product Great website and directions for newbie installers Pricepoint Cons: No squeegee item included Received DAMAGED product I have installed SO many of these and have never had an issue previously but this is my first time ordering from this company. Highly disappointed the product was not good quality to start with.

We got this for our bathroom which has a tiny window that is too small for a curtain, in my opinion. So we needed something to add privacy. My husband and I tag teamed putting this up, which made it way easier than one of us trying to do ourselves. This definitely gave us exactly what we were after and are considering getting more to do our patio sliding doors!
