    • THE WORST BASS STRING DESIGN EVER !

There are little or no winding's on the ends of these strings. They get to a point where they're just steel strands that will not grab on to a tuning peg. At least on the set I have. No matter how you put these on but the time you get to the "D" and "G' strings these just slip around the peg. Now I'm out the money and have strings that don't work and have to buy a new set of what I know will. ;Absolutely worthless set to me. ... show more

If you liked the Dean Markley Misfits Skullbusters strings, these are them. The CEO of DM recommended them via email after I complained about the Skullbusters being discontinued. The only complaint about these vs. the Skullbusters is the end of the strings that wrap in the tuning pegs are no longer cloth-covered. I miss that. ... show more

Upon completion of replacing my strings i noticed a slight volume drop, however i love the growl these strings deliver. Very bright and punchy with a smooth feel. I believe for the price they are a great strings.. Would buy again..
