We bought these curtains for each rooms. They block out all the light. They are pretty and elegant. They can be hung in different ways. They keep our house temperature the way we want it. The length is perfect. The fabric is easily steamed. They work as they should. No holes and no rips we have noticed in the two years since we started buying them. The fabric is nice. We have bought the white and grey depending on the room. The white has received a few scuff and dirt marks that are normal. It was always cleaned off easily.

I'd seen the NICETOWN Black Lined Shaded Draperies recommended on various YOUTUBE videos. I now understand 'why'- they're great! They are heavy, so fall well. The black lining really does provide both - no light, - privacy, - noise reduction and - thermal protection. I worried the Biscotti Beige would be too dark, but it's lighter than I'd expected. Looking at the photos, I realize the white walls provide a lot of contrast (so the drapes look darker than they really are). Anyway I'm delighted so will get a few more panels to finish the rest of the room!

These blackout curtains are fantastic, the material is heavy, nicely made with black material behind the white material. I would say they blackout 95% if the light this is because my curtain rods are not flushed with the walls. I would definitely buy these again.

What I like: 1. Price. You get a lot for the price. 2. Fabric. Fabric is nice and dense, and feels nice. 3. Color. The white is shiny and attractive. 4. Blocks out a ton of light. What I don't like: 1. Not quite 100%, but pretty dang close. I was obsessed with complete room darkness on the brightest of days. Especially during the winter, I would have the sun literally directly shining through my window. I tried many different ways, and came to one solution, that didn't cost much, but achieved the desired results. I also wanted to be able to open the curtains and the window if I wanted to, so a permanent window cover was not an option. I came to discover 3 important components to complete room darkness. One is a curved, or wrap around curtain rod. This will allow the curtain to go right up to the wall and block side light. The 2nd, is a second curtain inside the window frame itself. I achieved this with an inexpensive tension rod and my existing darkening curtains. The 3rd and final piece, is rod pocket style curtains. Grommet-style curtains simply won't do it. First I installed the new white 100% blackout curtains with the curved curtain rod. Next I took the tension rod and placed it inside my window frame as close to the top of the frame as I could possibly get. Then I fed my old room darkening curtains over the tension rod, doubling them up essentially, and they were long enough to reach the bottom of the window frame. Then I simply tucked the excess around the frame to block out as much light as possible. Between that and the blackout curtains, I only see the faintest of glows at the top of my ceiling above the window, and that's with the sun blaring directly through the window. I hope that helps someone, because I had a hell of a time over a long period of time trying to find a satisfactory solution. With new curtains and rods, I paid less than $70 for the entire setup. You can save more if you have existing curtains you can double up over the tension rod.

These are sewn like big pockets hanging upside down. The inner lining blocks 90% of the radiant heat. The double layering effectively stops all light. They aren't heavy or stiff, so the rod pocket slides onto and bunches well on the rod. They hang a bit bulky, but with some steaming, you could create very nice, if bulky, pleats. I can recommend these!

This brand is available in so many sizes and styles, and they really black out the sun. Really thick, heavy material, dark black liner, nice stitching, no loose threads hanging out of them. I was really leaning toward a different name brand, but someone recommended these, and they were so right. I've been asked to rate the "sheerness" of them, and that's the exact opposite of the point of these, they are fully opaque. I'm absolutely certain that I can do whatever I want in my bedroom and my neighbors will see NOTHING. I stand in my bedroom at noon and close the curtains and can't see my hand in front of my face. If you want complete and utter darkness, you're going to have to do the usual around the edges, but these have the windows covered.

I've bout some in the past that was ok. But still let too much light in for me. I have chronic migraines and light sensitive to boot. I have 6 sets of curtains from this company and love ever one of them. They are thick and block out light and most sound even. They have a thermal layer which is nice on the utility bills.
